Living Colour rolls out North American dates for ‘Vivid’ 25th anniversary tour

As we reported last week, genre-straddling hard-rock act Living Colour will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album Vivid with a new reissue and a tour centered around the 1988 album — and the band has now begun rolling out North American dates on that planned spring trek.

The band — featuring original members Corey Glover, Vernon Reid and Will Calhoun, plus Stain-era addition Doug Wimbish — will now follow seven previously announced European dates with at least nine concerts across the U.S. and Canada.

More dates are “coming soon,” according to the band’s Facebook page.

The U.S. run of shows, which are expected to feature a full-album performance of Vivid, opens March 27 in San Francisco and runs through April 13 in Toronto (see full dates below).

The band hasn’t announced the Vivid reissue, although Glover mentioned it in an interview.
