Playlist: Sirius XM’s ‘Dark Wave’ — hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs (2/3/13)

Tonight’s edition of “Dark Wave” — the Sunday night “darker side of alternative” show on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave — featured brand-new Depeche Mode, plus The Sisters of Mercy, The Glove, Nitzer Ebb, The Rose of Avalanche, Gary Numan, Ministry, Love and Rockets, Tackhead and much more.

“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs founder/editor Matt Sebastian, airs every Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave (Channel 33). The most recent two episodes also are available as part of Sirius XM’s new On Demand service for online subscribers.

  1. Good playlist. Today is my last day with Sirius. The sound quality (car) is terrible and this is what they should really be playing more often if they want my money. They have so many crap channels but play this good stuff only for a few hours on Sunday? get real!

    Thank you, Matt, for your thoughtful shows Sunday nights. I wish they could be longer! The best part of “first wave” radio, for sure. One of the reasons I keep my subscription to xm/serius. I preferred the programming when it was “Fred” and didn’t have the daily djs. Were you a part of that programming?
