A.C. Newman, Ted Leo and more to perform at tribute to Game Theory’s Scott Miller

Scott Miller of Game Theory

New Pornographers’ A.C. Newman, Ted Leo, Will Sheff of Okkervil River, Doug Gillard of Guided By Voices and Nada Surf, The Wrens’ Charles Bissell and more are slated to perform in New York City later this month as part of a tribute to Scott Miller of ’80s college-rock act Game Theory and later, The Loud Family, who died this past April at age 53.

Proceeds from the event — “A Tribute to Scott Miller of Game Theory and The Loud Family,” set for June 29 at The Cake Shop — will go to the Scott Miller Family Memorial Fund, which has been established to raise money to support the “educational future” of Miller’s daughters Valerie, 10, and Julianne, 7.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at $30, for the 21-and-up event. See full lineup below.
