  1. “Bastards of Young”!!! Bring on “Tim” and back-to-back #1 placings for the ‘Mats in the ’84 and ’85 polls!!!

Loved hearing “The Seer” again–with Kate sounding as wonderful as ever! (And thought for a sec that we were going to get “The Teacher,” too! :)) Saw BC on this tour in ’86. Still ranks up there with the best live performances I have ever seen. The love between band and audience was unlike anything I had experienced before and something I have rarely seen/felt at any show since. The set list was amazing, with the band doing “Fields of Fire” near the beginning AND a longer version at the end(!), with nonstop brilliance in between. (Probably identical to this set: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/big-country/1986/tower-theatre-upper-darby-pa-43d8c3c7.html)

    Stuart, RIP!

    Another ACE show, Matt!
