BACKSTORY: This week sees the release of Moz’s live cover of the Lou Reed classic on 7-inch and 12-inch vinyl; the singles include, as B-sides, “You’re Gonna Need Someone On Your Side,” plus varying live cuts.



BACKSTORY: Former Cocteau Twins bassist Simon Raymonde this week releases the debut album by his new project Snowbird that finds him teaming up with Massive Attack and Chemical Brothers collaborator Stephanie Dosen.

  1. This is welcome news on the Simon Raymonde release. His first solo effort, the thoughtful “Blame Someone Else,” came out 17 years ago! Where does the time go?
