RELEASE:  Clareville Grove Demos
BACKSTORY: Spread across three 7-inch vinyl singles, this live-to-tape demo session — recorded in January 1969 in Bowie’s flat — features the singer performing as a duo with John “Hutch” Hutchinson. Out this week.

RELEASE: “Boys Keep Swinging”
BACKSTORY: This week sees the release of a limited-edition, double-A side, 7-inch picture disc single featuring  “Boys Keep Swinging” and “I Pray, Olé,” the latter of which is unreleased since the Lodger re-issue in 1991.

A Certain Ratio

BACKSTORY: Out this week in physical formats, this 7-LP or 4CD set features more than 20 unreleased tracks and “showcases the diversity of singles, B-sides and alternative versions of tracks that A Certain Ratio have released.”

Rosetta Stone

RELEASE: Seems Like Forever
BACKSTORY: The British goth-rock act returns this week with its first album in nearly two decades. Founding member Porl King wrote and produced the entire album, with mixing handled by Jürgen Engler of Die Krupps.
