RELEASE: The Glass Bead Game
BACKSTORY: The classic 1986 debut album from the long-running U.K. post-punk/dream-pop outfit is reissued on vinyl this week by 1972 Records. Features the tracks “Across the Water,” “All My Eye & Betty Martin” and more.

The Smithereens

RELEASE: Covers
BACKSTORY: The band’s 2018 covers album gets an abridged release on red vinyl this week, collecting 14 interpretations of tracks by The Kinks, The Beatles, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Iggy Pop, Beach Boys, T. Rex and more.
