  1. Excellent show as always Matt! I loved that mix of Halloween by ministry. Goodnight!

  2. Can you dig up “Showroom Dummies” by Kraftwerk for next Sunday’s “Dark Wave”? Thanx!

  3. You delivered once again!

Next week, Possession by The Cure?

  4. Thank you for the Hunting Lodge, Matt! You rock!

  5. Hi Matt! Perhaps Worlock/Skinny Puppy for next week? Thank you!

  6. How about “The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove” by Dead Can Dance for next weeks show?

  7. Aphotic Empyrean

Get the Balance Right. My absolute favorite from DM. I agree with including Showroom Dummies for next week. Also, Switchblade Symphony: Drool

  8. That first hour was great, Matt!

Here are a couple of requests –

The Chameleons – As High As You Can Go
    Big Black – Bad Houses

    Thanks as always!

  9. Loved the shoegaze interlude Matt!

Gonna try for Shiver and Shake again by The Cure for next Sunday’s show

    Thanks

    Constantine

  10. Douglas McLaren

Hey, great show. Could you please play next week:
BXI, “Teeth and Claws” (BXI is Boris feat Ian Astbury) and
    X-Press2, “Kill 100”.

Both are killer songs, underplayed, would work well together (;)!

  11. The Church-Reptile

  12. Thank you so much for playing T21 for me! I’d love to hear the following in upcoming shows

Ian McCulloch – Lover Lover Lover
The Lucy Show – Ephemeral (This Is No Heaven)
Minimal Compact – The Next One Is Real
Public Image Ltd. – Don’t Ask Me
    Swallow – Follow Me Down
Swans – Love Will Save You
    Wire – In Vivo

  13. Matt- Thanks for playing Catherine Wheel and even though my request was played in hour 2, I like hour 1 mix the best this week. Like the Ian McCulloch and The Church request above. I believe 45 Grave-Evil would be good next week.

  14. haunted when the minutes drag

I continue to think that the Stone Roses “Something’s Burning,” “So Young,” or “Tell Me” would be a good fit for the darkwave show, even though the Roses aren’t a darkwave band. And, of course, “I wanna be adored” would be a good choice.

  15. Very balanced episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
Depeche Mode, “Get the Balance Right”

“Dark Wave this way, Dark Wave that way
Straight down the middle until next Sunday”

    Request for future show:
Siouxsie and the Banshees, “Song From The Edge Of The World” (Columbus Mix if possible)

  16. The shoegaze block is most definitely a thing.

  17. Great show. Thanks for the Iron Curtain. Loved the My Bloody Valentine and Woodentops selections especially. Have a great week.

  18. Another great show. You make Sunday nights enjoyable

  19. Great show as always! I would love to hear Burning Inside by Ministry and anything from Pigface!

  20. Shoegaze set was amazing Matt! It’s always a nice add and makes your show that much better. Most likely bringing in a whole generation to DW.
Consider Frustration by Soft Cell. Have an easy week.

  21. Thanks for playing a couple of my requests Matt. With all the good news Iately I still have to request Killing Joke ‘We Have Joy’ and now that we are back in November, Morrissey ‘November Spawned A Monster.’ Kudos to the Halloween/Day of the Dead show playlist. Like someone mentioned earlier that Sinister Ducks song was welcomed again after last year’s legendary Halloween/Day of the Dead hangover show with Bauhaus y familia. Stay safe Matt.

  22. B- Movie “Nowhere Girl” (original version)

Please don’t play the pop version they all play…

    Great show… love it

  23. Freddie Bingham

Guess I am in the minority but I really don’t like shoegaze. I’m turned off from listening to the show I’ve listened to for years now.

  24. Freddie Bingham

I loved the show opening with Caucasian Walk, far far away from shoegaze. If we play 90s on Dark Wave now, play Caruso by Gavin Friday.

  25. A pre-shoegaze pioneer request for “Revolution” by Spacemen 3. Great show, Matt. I love that you’re flexible enough to introduce folks to things they haven’t heard…even if they’re not your personal favorites. Trust me, you’re not losing any listeners that matter or appreciate eclectic music.

  26. Hi Matt, Stories of Old or To Have and To Hold by Depeche Mode would be awesome. Love those. Thanks!

  27. Hi Matt, can you play, Stories of Old by DM? Incredible song. Thanks

  28. Hi Matt, can you play, Stories of Old by DM?

  29. Sorry for the multiple posts I’m now seeing. It was having a day, apparently.
