Got a request? To be considered for next week’s show, drop it in the comments below by noon Tuesday. Requests will be considered as long as they fit the show’s format and generally within the 1stWave era — and provided the host doesn’t harbor an intense dislike of the song.

  1. This was a most pleasant post Thanksgiving show. The goth pumpkin pie with the industrial ice cream topping if you will. The PTP track followed by Melt was an excellent choice. Could we hear:

Sister Machine Gun- Sins of the Flesh

Please and thank you as always.

  2. My birthday is next Sunday, so can you dig up “Girl Least Likely To” by Morrissey for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!

  3. Kevin Kuenkler

Just wanted to thank you for the Sisters of Mercy and the birthday wishes!! Loved the show. Will be listening next week as always!!

  4. I loved hearing MCL and pink industry tonight Matt, goodnight!

  5. Feels like you really hit some out-of-the-ordinary tracks this time with the My Captains and Pink Industry. Really loved that. Great episode all the way around.

Would like to request one of my favorite David Bowie songs “The Motel” if possible.

Appreciate the good music. Have a great week.

  6. Yes, a cracker of a show tonight! Loved the Chris & Cosey and I thank whoever requested the Swans. For a future episode, how about Neu! – La Bomba?

    Depeche Mode — Blue Dress

  10. Anybody feeling depressed and want to feel even MORE depressed ? Matt, for next week, please play “I Can See Myself Alone Forever” by The Field Mice.

    Thank you.

  11. Great seat! I always end up listening to these shows again in my car and pretending I’m listening to college radio.

Can I request The Game by L&R? For some reason it just popped into my head one day. Thanks!

  12. Burning episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    The Cure, “Burn”

Ok, I’ve been sitting on this request for several years waiting for the stars to align. My younger brother Mark will turn 38 on the day of the next show. I’d like to send him a Happy Birthday song for being cool and growing up listening to all of his older brother’s DarkWave music on repeat. His first concert was the Bauhaus resurrection tour of 1998 and he still listens to them today!

    Request for future show:
    Revolting Cocks, “38”

  13. [Another] fantastic show! I’d love to hear the following [if schedule permits]

    Moskwa TV – Generator 7/8
    Propaganda – A Dream Within A Dream
And Also The Trees – Slow Pulse Boy

  17. Loved the show last night. It would be cool to hear Skinny Puppy-Smothered Hope next week.

  18. The show never disappoints. Thanks for playing My Captains. I discovered it recently myself. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’d love to hear Lollita by A.R. Kane. Another recent discovery.

  19. Don’t think it’s “dark wave” but I love Alphaville’s ’94 “Prostitute”, maybe a tune from that album.

  20. I know Halloween is long past, but I recently heard the acoustic rendition of “Everyday is Halloween” by Al and company, and thought that would be a fine addition to any upcoming Dark Wave playlist. Enjoy the rest of the week!
