Got a request? To be considered for next week’s show, drop it in the comments below by noon Tuesday. Requests will be considered as long as they fit the show’s format and generally within the 1stWave era — and provided the host doesn’t harbor an intense dislike of the song.

  1. Great show, Matt. I have a birthday request for Luna who celebrates the big 40 on Oct. 6. Will you please play “Doing the Unstuck” or “Open” from Show by The Cure? The live album was recorded about 20 minutes away from where we live in Metro Detroit. And if you do not like either of those songs, we’ll appreciate a dealer’s choice of a live song from The Cure. Thanks!

  2. Can you PLEASE dig up “Vitamin” by Kraftwerk for nxt Sunday’s show?!!! Thanx!!!

  3. Hi matt! Great show tonight. I loved hearing Graveyard by PIL, and Godflesh tonight! I am very happy to see the website working again. Goodnight!

  4. Loved the show tonight! Thanks for playing that ABC tune.

A couple of suggestions for next weeks show:
Die Krupps – “To The Hilt”
    Cabaret Voltaire – “Sensoria”

    Thanks Matt!

  5. How about the Church cover of Hounds of Love?

  6. Great show yet again Matt, that second hour was really superb. Thanks for playing “Black Celebration” too, great live cut. Really loved the shoegaze block, especially “Spooky Vibes.” Thank you!

  13. Hi Matt,

Can you play, “Decline of The West” 12” B.E.F. by Heaven 17? Very original Blade Runner-esque. Thank you.

  14. WET-“That’s The Game”
    PRINCESS TINYMEAT-“Angels In Pain”

    Thank You

  15. We haven’t heard from Ed Ka-Spel in a bit, maybe some Tear Garden- You and Me and Rainbows? Or if that’s too long maybe Sheila Liked the Rodeo.
Or you could play some LPD- The More it Changes is a personal fave, though pretty mellow sounding. I’d take DJ’s choice as well!

  16. One of the best shows thus far this year. Hour 1 killed it. Favorite tracks from NIN, KMFDM, Mission of Burma, and The Church. Good to hear the Shoegaze block back too.
    Have a great week.

  17. This was a wonderful show and great to study to! If you could play An Eye For The Main Chance – By Rosetta Stone, I’d be so happy.

  18. Elma Rico Kastning

It would be so appreciated if you would play something by Peruvian goth band Varsovia, especially “Ellos Quieren Sangre” or ANYTHING off of the wonderful “Los Espookys” soundtrack. Muchisimas gracias! Elma Rico Kastning, San Francisco Bay Area

  19. Corey Miller-McLain

Thanks for another kick ass show tonight Matt, best part of my weekend! Next week would you please play “Psycho Magnet” by London After Midnight?
