  6. Carmen ILARDI

Thanks for playing The Great Commandment. It’s one of my favorite songs.

  7. Thank you for playing my Love and Rockets request. Such a nice treat to hear during my Monday morning commute. Another awesome show! Super stoked for Ride and the Peter Murphy gem.

  8. Hey Matt – Kudos for another truly awesome 3-hour assemblage!
Thanks so much for playing “Soul in Isolation” // Chameleons UK! And also for all of the Cruel World info.

Here is an industrial request for sometime next month? : Dogstar Man/Helter Skelter by Meat Beat Manifesto …. ‘It’s in my brain now’ !! ;-)

    Cheers – JR

  9. Thanks for Jackie’s Funeral.
Enjoyed Camouflage. Suggestions in a similar vein:
    • Live Cinema “Pop Density”
    • Information Society “Seek 2000”

  10. For the Kill – Life on Venus

  11. Bravo Matt!! Hour 3 just slayed!! Thinking upbeat this week:. Some possible suggestions for next time:

    James – Ring The Bells
The Jesus and Mary Chain – Happy When it Rains
    The Stranglers – Golden Brown

    Thanks as always! 。◕‿◕。

  12. Skids – Scared to Dance

  13. Truly outstanding show this weekend!

For next weekend, any chance you could play “A Daisy Chain 4 Satan (Acid & Flowers Mix)” by My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult?

“I live for drugs. It’s great. It’s great.”

  14. Awesome show! Would you play Love and Rockets – Sweet F.A.? Thank you for your consideration

  15. Amazingly great stuff tonight. Did not expect Galaxie 500 but much obliged.

  16. Fabulous show Matt! I think hour 1 was the winner for me with the Cruel World preview block followed by Moz and Bauhaus from last year’s fest. I’ll be there in May, hopefully with some other dark wavers. The shoegaze block was also great as always and then Galaxie 500 was a special treat. I saw Luna a little over a week ago and they were amazing.

Here’s a request for next week and a band I am as excited for as any at this year’s Cruel World:
Gang of Four – To Hell With Poverty

    Cheers!

  17. Xymox Smile Like Heaven please

  18. How about the Canadian band “Handfuls of snowdrops” with the song “Gabrielle”.,,, so underrated and in line with Clan of Xymox and others

  19. Matt- Hour 1 edged out hour 2 and 3 in that order. Great stuff! I’d like to hear Sittin’ Around My Place by Radio Head. Not your well know Radiohead of the late 90’s early 2000’s.

Radio Head 1983 US punk band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisted of members from China White, AKA’s and The Blades.

  20. Would not have expected The Frozen Autumn or Gravity Kills. Glad to see they are included. Also, loved the Souxise cover of an Iggy Pop song followed by Iggy himself. Also a Shoegaze set and Abecedarians. Great show and great selections.

Throwing this out there. Found a rerelease of an 80s darkwave band from Buenos Aires called Euroshima. I think the album is pretty good and wished they had gotten larger exposure. Would like you to consider “Como Los Otros” or “Mejor Callarlo” for an upcoming episode?

Thanks for a show I’ll be listening to all week. Have a good one.

  21. Enjoyed the Cruel World block and shoegaze!

    Here are some requests –

The Hair & Skin Trading Company – Flat Truck
    Wipers – True Believer

    Thanks!

    • I forgot to add (which you may already have planned) perhaps something from Television out of respect to Tom Verlaine.

  22. With Tom Verlaine passing this last weekend, I went back to my old Television albums.
He had one of the most honest and distinct voices of the Pre-punk-punk era.(Marquee Moon nailed it)
But could you please play a song from his solo album “Tom Verlaine”, he did a very cool David Bowie cover of “Kingdom Come”.
    Thanks.
    RIP Tom.

  23. oh my FILTH PIG….revco…thank you, I am so far behind in thanking you for all the great music in recent weeks-chris connelly, fad gadget, pigface, all of it…grace jones she’s lost control was so lovely.

    how about chickasaw?

  24. Wrathful episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Gravity Kills, “Guilty”

    “What’s in the box?”

  25. Probably too late, but I’ll try…South Texas has had ice & power outages…

With Tom Verlaine’s passing, how would Chris Connelly’s cover of Souvenir of a Dream fur?

Thnx for Filth Pig era Ministry

  26. Earnest Seiler

I shall say your 1/22/23 show perhaps was your greatest yet Thank you.
It is a joy to hear tunes that are played NO where else and have a sense of communion with others who respect the music.
A question: Are you familiar with “Parade in Paris” and if so, please and always any Japan/David Slyvian is a welcome delight.
    Respect
