The coronavirus pandemic is wreaking havoc on live music across the globe, with giant festivals — including Coachella and South By Southwest — postponed or canceled and tours in the U.S. and around the world being canceled or curtailed in an effort to protect large crowds from transmitting COVID-19.

This week’s new releases include “One More Time With Feeling,” the documentary about the making of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ 2016 album ‘Skeleton Tree,’ plus a new 4CD box set collecting expanded editions of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry’s first four albums, and a brand-new studio album from Men at Work’s Colin Hay.

This week’s new releases include a slew of reissues from The Pretenders, which are also being collected into a single box set, plus new albums from The B-52s’ Kate Pierson, Men at Work’s Colin Hay and The Juliana Hatfield Three, plus a new collection from Texas of re-recorded favorites.

Men at Work frontman and singer-songwriter Colin Hay returns next week with Next Year People, his 12th solo album and first in nearly four years, a 12-song collection “full of quizzical, curious and cynical, yet open-hearted, songs” that we’re thrilled to premiere today at Slicing Up Eyeballs.
