Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will return to North America next summer for a second round of dates in support of the band’s current album Push the Sky Away, a just-announced trek that runs from June 16 through July 31 and will bring the group to 15 cities across the United States plus four more in Canada.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release their fourth official live album next month in the form of Live From KCRW, a set recorded this past April in a studio for the Los Angeles radio station that will be released on CD and double vinyl at independent retailers on Record Store Day’s upcoming Black Friday event.

Organizers of Barcelona’s Primavera Sound 2013 festival unfurled a mind-bending lineup topped by headliners The Jesus and Mary Chain, Blur, My Bloody Valentine and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, in addition to appearances by Dinosaur Jr, Bob Mould, Dead Can Dance, The Breeders and many more.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will close out their reissue series by releasing expanded CD/DVD editions of the band’s three most recent albums — 2003’s ‘Nocturama,’ 2004’s ‘Abbatoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus’ and 2008’s ‘Dig!!! Lazarus, Dig!!!’ — this summer, with each featuring a new 5.1 Surround Sound mix.
