Morrissey fans in the U.K. will get just one chance to see the singer in concert this year — on July 28, when he plays a hometown arena show in Manchester. The date, announced over the weekend via fansite True To You, goes on sale 9 a.m. April 27, and is billed as “Morrissey’s only U.K. concert of 2012.”
Morrissey currently is slated to play Japan and the Far East in April and early May, followed by six announced dates in Hawaii, California and Arizona before heading to Europe for, so far, eight concerts, including six in Italy and a just-announced date in Turkey.
