Peter Murphy

RELEASE: 5 Albums
BACKSTORY: Cherry Red this week resurrects (in the UK) its 5 Albums box set series, collecting the first five solo records from the ex-Bauhaus frontman, each appended with several bonus tracks, and packaged in a book-like case.

Nine Inch Nails

RELEASE: Bad Witch
BACKSTORY: Trent Reznor this week releases the third in a trio of previously announced EPs, though this one is being marketed as an album. Features the tracks “Ahead of Ourselves,” “Play the Goddamned Part” and “Shit Mirror.”

Pete Shelley

RELEASE: Genetic Years
BACKSTORY: This 3LP vinyl box set, limited to 500 copies, collects the Buzzcocks’ leaders two early ’80s solo albums recorded with producer Martin Rushent, plus a third record featuring bonus material. Includes a signed photo.

  1. Peter Murphy release is cheaper from the Beggars site:

  2. HumanCobras

Why doesn’t The Cure re-issue “Wish” on vinyl. Mixed up was already released and those best of and acoustic vinyl are so boring.

    • Georgio Cider

Wish will probably be released once the remaster is released. Robert already finished the remaster so now it’s just a matter of waiting

  3. It’s not a physical release but the ohGr album was just released today as well!

  4. Also David Sylvian & Holger Czukay – Plight & Premonition and Flux & Mutability 2CD
