BACKSTORY: Cherry Red this week resurrects (in the UK) its 5 Albums box set series, collecting the first five solo records from the ex-Bauhaus frontman, each appended with several bonus tracks, and packaged in a book-like case.

Nine Inch Nails

RELEASE: Bad Witch
BACKSTORY: Trent Reznor this week releases the third in a trio of previously announced EPs, though this one is being marketed as an album. Features the tracks “Ahead of Ourselves,” “Play the Goddamned Part” and “Shit Mirror.”

RELEASE: Genetic Years
BACKSTORY: This 3LP vinyl box set, limited to 500 copies, collects the Buzzcocks’ leaders two early ’80s solo albums recorded with producer Martin Rushent, plus a third record featuring bonus material. Includes a signed photo.
