John Lydon this week unveiled the tracklist for the first new Public Image Ltd. album in 20 years, a 12-track, self-financed record called ‘This Is PiL’ that will be preceded by the previously announced Record Store Day vinyl EP that will include four of the tracks earmarked for the new full-length collection.

Hüsker Dü’s Grant Hart subject of new film by director of Replacements documentary

Gorman Bechard, director of the 2011 documentary ‘Color Me Obsessed: A Film About The Replacements,’ is next setting his filmmaking sights on Grant Hart, and has begun raising money from fans to fund a planned new film called ‘Every Everything’ about the former Hüsker Dü drummer, singer and songwriter.

Pulp kicked off its first trip to the U.S. since 1998 with a performance on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ last night, trotting out Britpop national anthem ‘Common People’ for broadcast and then playing ‘Like a Friend’ — the band’s contribution to the soundtrack of the 1998 film version of ‘Great Expectations’ — for the show’s website.

Morrissey adds Manchester date to summer tour — billed as ‘only UK concert of 2012’

Morrissey fans in the U.K. will get just one chance to see the singer in concert this year — on July 28, when he plays a hometown arena show in Manchester. The date, announced over the weekend via fansite True To You, goes on sale 9 a.m. April 27, and is billed as ‘Morrissey’s only U.K. concert of 2012.’
