RELEASE:  Mermaid Avenue: The Complete Sessions
 On Record Store Day this Saturday, Nonesuch will collect 1998′s Mermaid Avenue, 2000′s Mermaid Avenue Vol. II and a brand-new Mermaid Avenue Vol. III set, featuring 17 previously unreleased Woody Guthrie covers from Bragg and Wilco — plus a DVD of 1999′s “Man in the Sand” documentary about the sessions.

ARTIST : Talk Talk 
The Colour of Spring, Spirit of Eden
 Having released 1991′s Laughing Stock on vinyl for the first time ever last year, Talk Talk continues to reissue its catalog, this time with 1986′s The Colour of Spring and 1988′s Spirit of Eden set for release this week in the U.K. on 180-gram audiophile vinyl with an accompanying DVD featuring a new 96 kHz/24 bit LPCM stereo mix.

ARTIST : Spandau Ballet
 The Albums 1980-1984
BACKSTORY: EMI this week releases, in the U.K., a new box set collecting the first four Spandau Ballet albums: 1981’s Journey to Glory (“To Cut a Long Story Short,” “Reformation”), 1982’s Diamond (“Paint Me Down,” “Instiction”), 1983’s True (“True,” “Gold,” “Communicaiton”) and 1984’s Parade (“Only When You Leave,” “I’ll Fly For You”).

ARTIST : Grinderman
Grinderman 2 RMX
 Nick Cave says goodbye to his garage-blues side project Grinderman with the release this week in the U.S. (it came out last month in the U.K.) of a 12-track remix album, collecting mixes of cuts from the band’s sophomore album by members of the Yeah Yeah YeahsUNKLE and Queens of the Stone Age (stream the album here).
