The Cure, 'Disintegration'

And so it goes: The reissue of The Cure’s Disintegration has been delayed yet again, with a new release date — in the U.S., at least — set for June 8, according to a press release from Rhino Records this afternoon. The 3CD set, originally due in February, will feature the remastered album, a disc of unreleased demos and an expanded edition of Entreat. See full tracklist here, and take a listen to “Delirious Night” — one of the previously unheard outtakes — right here.

  1. nooooooooooooooooo! but really, it’s ok. i am still absolutely pumped about this release.

  2. God, this is becoming like The Cure’s Chinese Democracy. Hopefully this is the last set back.

  3. Tonight Amazon notified customers who placed a pre-order that the new date is June 21-25, 2010.
