Jane's Addiction, 'Live Voodoo'ARTIST: Jane’s Addiction
RELEASE: “Live Voodoo”
BACKSTORY: The alt-rock powerhouse this week releases a concert DVD and Blu-ray capturing its full 13-song set at New Orleans’ Voodoo Experience music festival last Halloween — which would turn out to be bassist Eric Avery’s final concert on U.S. soil with the briefly reunited original lineup. The live film features the band running through classics such as “Three Days,” “Mountain Song” and “Summertime Rolls.” Also included in this set: two bonus songs — “1%” and “Ocean Size” — recorded at one of the group’s first reunion gigs with Avery in Los Angeles in 2008 (see full tracklist here).
