Kraftwerk joins New Order on first day of Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in March

Electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk will make a rare appearance on these shores when the group joins the newly reunited New Order at the electro-centric Ultra Music Festival in Miami next March as part of the first phase of the three-day fest’s lineup, which also includes Tiesto, Justice, FatBoy Slim, M83 and David Guetta.

Word of an appearance by New Order  — featuring keyboardist Gillian Gilbert, but not bassist Peter Hook — had leaked out earlier this month, but organizers of the March 23-25 festival made it official with Friday’s announcement of the first part of the event’s lineup. You can see the rest of the lineup in the poster above, and check out the event’s site for full ticket details.
