ARTIST : Bjork
RELEASE: Bastards
BACKSTORY: The former Sugarcubes frontwoman this week releases a collection of remixes of tracks from her 2011 album Biophilia, a set that includes collaborations with Current Value, Death Grips, Hudson Mohawke, Alva Noto, Matthew Herbert, Omar Souleyman, 16-bit, These New Puritans and The Slips.

ARTIST : Chris Stamey
RELEASE: Lovesick Blues
BACKSTORY: Following last year’s reunion album from The dB’s, one of that band’s founders returns this week with his first new album since a 2005 collaboration with Yo La Tengo called A Question of Temperature. ARTIST : Julian Cope
RELEASE: St. Julian
BACKSTORY: The former Teardrop Explodes frontman this week reissues this third solo album, which was original released in 1987, as a two-disc expanded edition featuring a bonus disc full of remixes and B-sides, many of which can be found on the 1997 rarities collection The Followers of St. Julian.

  1. Heaven [Owlle Remix] is incredible, and much more what you’d expect from DM than the band’s studio version.

  2. Yes! Depeche Mode :D I love the video for that track!
