Dead Can Dance to play 2 California shows between Coachella appearances

Like New Order, the reunited Dead Can Dance is using its twin appearances at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April as an occasion to squeeze in a couple extra performances — in this case, just-announced shows in San Francisco and Napa, Calif., the week between the band’s festival dates.

Dead Can Dance will perform April 15 at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco and April 17 at the Uptown Theatre in Napa. The band is slotted to play Coachella on April 14 and 21. The band currently is in Japan, and has a full European tour set this summer.

  1. I’ve seen DCD last year in Barcelona. One of the best gigs I’ve ever been to.
