BACKSTORY: Robyn Hitchcock this week releases a new collection that’s “part well-known favorites, part personal discoveries, and part originals.” It includes his cover of The Psychedelic Furs’ “The Ghost in You.”

BACKSTORY: Wire’s fourth album, released in 1980, and comprised mostly of live material recorded the year before, is reissued this week in the U.S as an expanded 2CD set with unreleased tracks. It came out in the U.K. last week.

BACKSTORY: The only album recorded by Lydia Lunch and Rowland S. Howard, original released in 1991, gets a vinyl reissue this week. Produced by Foetus’ J.G. Thirwell with drums by the Bad Seeds’ Jim Scalvunos.
