Excellent show tonight!
Siouxsie and the Banshees “Cannibal Roses”
I never miss Dark Wave…one of the best shows on Sirius XM. I’d like to request “Avatar” by Dead Can Dance anytime you can…thank you Matt.
Can ya cram in “Torture” by KMFDM next week?
Thanks for the shout out on my request!
My requests this week are Primitive Painters by Felt featuring Elizabeth Fraser, and or Mannequin by Wire. Thanks again!
Would like to hear Catherine Wheel – Fripp , Gary Numan – Mercy.
Love the show.
You really went deep in your goody bag. It was great to hear the New The The and MC 900Ft Jesus and anytime you play something from “Juju”, you can’t miss. You finish my weekend in Style.
The full Neverland?! Well done!
Another great set, Matt.
Next week I would love to hear “Throne of Agony” by Foetus.
Another great show, could you play The Trial by Dead Can Dance?
Great last night that Sex Pistols “Anarchy In The UK” was really the lead song of the dark wave program, unless it was the last song of the first wave program. I have a story to tell about that song: New Order used to use that as an intro to when they played live, I have 2 audience recordings I made of 2 different shows they played in my town, New York City, back in December 1986, then again in August 1987, either way, it’s great to hear Sex Pistols, anywhere, anytime. But I digress, THANK YOU for playing MY request for Dead Or Alive with Wayne in the band, and getting to hear JAMC, Siouxsie, the Dead Or Alive was awesome, to say the least…next week I request Gene Loves Jezebel, how about Shaving My Neck, or Screaming For Emmaline. Let’s dig deep again…
Really enjoyed the deep cuts and the shoegaze choices this week, Matt!
Here are a couple of requests –
Executive Slacks – Our Lady
Gang of Four – Call Me Up
Seconding the requests for “The Trial” and “Our Lady”!
Myself, I’d like to request “Perfumed Metal” by Chrome for next week’s show. Thanks again for the show, Matt, and for having played my past request for “Seven Years” by Eyeless in Gaza!
This week’s Darkness Award:
Richard H. Kirk, “Hipnotic”
Request for future show:
Revolting Cocks, “Cattle Grind”
(Studio Mix if possible)
Sunday evening is my favorite night!!! (Even though Monday is WORK!!)
Pere Ubu Final solution
Peter Murphy His Circle and Hers met
Great show. I think I can get through the rest of the week now.
Thanks for The Lucy Show track.
Maybe next time something from Nitzer Ebb like ‘My Door is Open’ from Industrial Age or ‘Border Talk’ from Big Hit.
Sorry. I said ‘Industrial Age’ instead of ‘Industrial Complex’. Thanks.
Please play Destroyer-Tinseltown swimming in blood
Fangs of love by My life with the thrill kill kult

Friggin in the rigging Sex Pistols or Hey the pixies love the show

Alien Sex Fiend – I Walk the Line
Also 2nd Xtina’s request for Xmal Deutschland
Opps just noticed I missed the deadline for the 13th. ): If you can’t squeeze it in next week will be fine.
Can I just tell you how cool it was to hear Dead or Alive on the show? SUCH A GREAT CUT BY THEM! Other great notables for me this go ’round were Richard H. Kirk, Fad Gadget, and (always) Depeche Mode. Thanks, Matt, for another fun show! ’til next time, stay safe & stay healthy.
Hi Matt, thanks for playing my request (Richard H Kirk : “Hipnotic”). Love the sound of that whole album – very 1985 Cabaret Voltaire-ish ….
How about some Lush next week ? Maybe something from 2016’s return EP with “Out of Control” ?
Oops, forgot to mention – if you can’t fit the Lush request in during the next broadcast, any upcoming week is fine. Thank you.
A late big thank you!!! for playing my Bauhaus Birthday request!!! Also – Lush!!! Stellar choice!! Haven’t heard them in a while. Have to revisit them!! Thank you again for the weekly journey in darkness!
