Got a request? To be considered for next week’s show, drop it in the comments below by noon Tuesday. Requests will be considered as long as they fit the show’s format and generally within the 1stWave era — and provided the host doesn’t harbor an intense dislike of the song.

  1. Can you PLEASE dig up “Hitherto” by Cocteau Twins for next Sunday’s show??? Thanx!!

  2. Great selection with Wall of Voodoo.

How about some older Stabbing Westward next week.

  3. Great show tonight, Matt! Can you please play
PTP – Show me your spine for next week?!

  4. Great selections from Metropolis. I wasn’t aware of their influence. Thanks.

But because you played my two favorite darkwave songs with violins in Hour Two, I have to give it to Hour Two this week. Promise Me and Displaced House are such great songs. Hour Three was no slouch either though. Just great cuts all the way around.

Please consider Room Nine’s “Angels Sing” for an upcoming episode.

Thanks for a great show. Will be listening to it several times this week. Have a good one.

  5. How about some Xmal Deutschland? Incubus Succubus II, is a good one.

  6. That was a great setlist. Some great cut that haven’t been played in a while, which were great to hear. Lunar Camel and Ring of fire were especially noteworthy. Very well done! I’m going to the beach today and I will be listening to a replay!

  7. Thanks for playing my request. Have a good week.

  8. Good day Matt! Love the set list – thank you for the Ministry track! You also played my favorite Concrete Blonde song yay!! Anyway…
Some possible suggestions for next time:
Wire – I Am The Fly
The Cure – A Strange Day
    J&MC – Come On

  9. I have a birthday request, Matt. As I mark another milestone in my slog through my 50s, two Neon Judgement songs come to mind…The Man (remix) or Awful Day. I’d appreciate either. Thanks.

  10. Constantine

I’m seeing Peter Hook and the Light this week, he’s doing a mainly Joy Division setlist, and I’m wondering if you could play
“A Means To An End” from Closer by Joy Division

  11. Enjoyed the industrial-heavy choices this week. Hour two was killer.

WoV’s cover of Ring of Fire is always appreciated. That guitar work is spooky-good.

    Here are some requests –

    Sort Sol – Marble Station
    Pixies – I Bleed

  12. Southern Death Cult – Apache

  13. Applauds for :wumpscut: and London After Midnight! RIP Dave Heckman.

Speaking of :wumpscut:, I request “Black Death (French Concept)”.

  14. Great show again this week, Matt. Thanks!
For next week’s show, could you consider the following requests?

    Clan of Xymox – Stranger

  15. Another superb setlist Matt! I really enjoyed the selections from Metropolis, thank you for those.

How about Pale Spectre from The Wake?

  16. Great set as always!! Shoegaze set next week? :)

  17. Great show, hour two crushed it. I’m usually laying down by that point listening to the show and I wanted to get up and dance.
    Suggestion for next week.
    Brian Eno/David Byrne-The Jezebel Spirit

  18. Consistently the best 3 hours of music on SiriusXM! How about “Falling” by Comsat Angels or anything from the “Reach The Beach” album by The Fixx?

  19. Thank you for that Rose of Avalanche tune. Such a classic.

How about going back to the Batcave (Young Limbs and Numb Hymns) for a little Sexbeat?

  20. Great show as always. Loved hearing Ribbons, it’s one of my favorite Sisters of Mercy songs. How about Peter Gabriel- Intruder for next show?

  21. Awesome show!!! Could you please play “I Wanna Be A Flintstone” by Screaming Blue Messiahs?

  22. Blissful episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Psychic TV, “Bliss”

    “Thank you”

  23. Douglas from Atlanta.

How about some Wumpscut – Soylent Green this Sunday???
