  1. Lunar Camel by Siouxsie + the Banshees for nxt Sunday’s show

  2. Could you play “Splinter” by Gary Numan, please?

  3. Great tunes tonight. The Kate Bush/Shoegaze block/and Time Zone gave Hour 3 the win. Didn’t hurt that when Revco played, the album cover that flashed up was for Aaliyah.

Speaking of, for a future show can I request something off RevCo’s Cocked and Loaded? “Fire Engine” or “Ten Million Ways to Die” maybe.

Thanks and have a good week.

  4. Great show tonight, Matt! Thank you for love & rockets tonight!

    • Great show last night, Matt! I could only stick around for the first hour but I was very pleased. Could you do “Get Out of Control” by Daniel Ash for next week’s show?

  5. May I suggest a song by the band Danny And The Nightmares although they may not be from the time period Danny/Daniel Johnston however is from the time period and this song would fit in perfectly on this show it is an eerie one called “Twilight Zone Love” if you could fit it in that would be greatly appreciated
    Thank. You
    Kendall

  6. Also I forgot to mention the song is from the album titled Freak Brain
    Thanks.Again

  7. Another great show, as always!
    For next week requesting
    Psychomagnet by London After Midnight
    Thanks Matt

  8. GREATER THAN ONE – I don’t need god
    SHELLEYAN ORPHAN – shatter
    PAILHEAD – I will refuse

    Thanks

  9. Killer show Matt, just fabulous from start to finish. Thanks a bundle for playing Ride. I am most definitely in the mood for Friday’s show, looking forward to it. And what a nice surprise to hear Velocity Girl right after. I remember buying that EP at Mod Lang records on University Ave in Berkeley when it came out in 93, great memory of a great record shop. Swervedriver and Lush too, wow. And The Glove!

How about a Shriekback deep cut next week – Sexthinkone.

    Have a great week, cheers!

    • Oh man, Mod Lang was one of my favorite record stores ever. Lived briefly in the Bay Area (2000-2001), and that place was the best.

      • Mod Lang really was one of a kind. The owners Paul and Naomi were such awesome people. They moved the store to El Cerrito something like a decade or so ago, but sadly the store closed during Covid and has not re-opened. Met a bunch of great bands at the old Berkeley location too: The Charlatans, The Boo Radleys, Tindersticks, Gene, Stereolab, the list goes on. Those were the days….

  10. Catherine Wheel – Girl Stand Still

  11. “Devil Dance” by Invisible Limits would be nice. Believe me.

  12. Solid setlist tonight Matt — especially hour 3! So many good tours coming up – very excited to see Skinny Puppy again in Toronto…but being their last will be bittersweet. Some possible suggestions for next time:

    Skinny Puppy – The Choke
    Bigod 20 – The Bog
    KMFDM – Anarchy

    Thanks as always!! 。◕‿◕。

  13. Wow, I haven’t heard velocity girl in ages, that was pretty cool to add that to the playlist tonight

  14. Romeo Void – Wrap It Up

  15. Enchanting dark grooves last night. For the next show might I suggest “Slow Kill “ from Fields Of The Nephilim’s immortal “Dawnrazor” album.

  16. I think Just Can’t Get Enough is a great early Depeche Mode song, broader appeal to the masses then some of their darker stuff back in the day

BUT the Schizo mix takes this song , especially the last half of it, to another level. What goth/dark waver could resist tearing up the dance floor in a trance when this was played at the club back in the day

Please play this mix if you could Matt , I know you love it

    Constantine

  17. L.A Rain- Rose Of Avalanche
    Fire Of Love-The Gun Club
Loved last nights show great fantastic
    Sorry For The Double positive

  18. I would love to hear either “I Believe “ by MBV
Or “I wanna be your dog”(Live)by The House Of Love in honor of Cruel World
I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard “I like fur” man that brings back memories from 1998

  19. Thanks a lot for playing Evil Mothers! Ex frontman Curse Mackey is one of the coolest dudes of industrial music. Check out his solo stuff y’all!
Another generally gracious human being is Athan Maroulis. Could you play a track from his old band Spahn Ranch? “U Tell Em U (Matt’s Righteous Mix)”

  20. Another solid set list. Loving the shoe gaze blocks as well. Lazy Calm by Cocteau Twins (Victorialand), some Pink Turns Blue, Ionia by Lycia or Everywhere by The Cranes would be great for some upcoming shows. Thanks Matt for making Sunday evenings so good.

  21. Enjoyed the mix of each hour!

    Here are some requests –

    New Order – Mesh
    PiL – Low Life

    Thanks!

  22. How about something from Art of Noise.
    Thanks, Matt

  23. Hey Matt

Awesome show as per usual – Tales of Innocence is such a classic, great choice from Atrocities! Also very cool to hear songs from It’s Beginning to and Back Again!! Speaking of Wire, here is an aligned (somewhat) request – ‘Tongue Ties’ by He Said (Graham Lewis et al).

    Cheers! – JR

  24. March 31 is the 30th anniversary of Brandon Lee’s death while he was filming “The Crow”. Maybe around that time you could play some music from the soundtrack of that movie. I know that you usually mix them in throughout the year but to play it all around that time would be a nice tribute.

  25. Insane episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Front Line Assembly, “Outcast”

“And even though he was crazy, Go now!”

  26. Loved the second hour of this last weeks show. Excellent !! Would love to hear and share the song “Open Grave” from Single Gun Theory. Thanks.

  27. Robert Wilson

    Secession- Betrayal….please
