  1. “The Robots” by Kraftwerk for (the next after next) Sunday’s show. Thanx! :)

  2. Great show as usual. I think we are due some Nina Hagen soon. Please and thanks!

  3. Wow great show kicking it off the bat with Gang Of Four then later transitioning into the heavy then mellow sounds of hour two then finally kicking ass with those drums in No Love Lost my absolute favorite Joy Division song ever. Now this request may sound bizarre but I think it could work for the show “ Devil Town “ by Daniel Johnston or if not than “ Losing Touch With My Mind “ by Spacemen 3 I think personally they are both solid picks but it’s your show. But anyway great show and thanks in advance

  4. Loved the Honolulu Mountain Daffodils and 14 Iced Bears. And such great cuts from The Cure, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, and March Violets. Completely worth staying up late for.

Would like to request one from Wolfsheim: “Heroin She Said”. Great cut off one of their later albums. If that’s too late a time period, how about “Angry Today” from No Happy View?

Thanks and have a great week.

  5. Thank you so much for the Coil track and thank you so much for the Stone Roses track!

  6. Matt, hour 1 was really good, but hour 3 like Burney said, “was worth staying up for.” Nothing better than FEAR and The Damned back to back. Have a good night.

  7. Damn fine play list!!! One of these days I’ll get my damn Sirius sub back grrrrr ‼️

  8. Excellent show tonight, Matt!

  9. addictedtonoise

  10. That first hour was unreal. My favorite cuts from Echo, NiN Siouxsie and Gary Numan. That really made my night. Had to turn in early but I will certainly catch the rest of the show this week.

    Clan of Xymox: Your Vice
    Nick Cave: Cassiels Song
    U2: Night and Day

  14. haunted when the minutes drag

So young by the roses. Love it!!

    • I agree on some Aussie tunes. This one, or ‘Street Cafe’. Anything from Hunters And Collectors ‘Jaws of Life’.

  16. A huge thank you Matt for playing my D mode request….I cried thru the whole song, but it was very therapeutic. You have a huge ♥️ for playing our requests every week – we appreciate it greatly.

Done possible suggestions for next time:

The Pixies – Wave of Mutilation
The Jesus and Mary Chain – Upside Down (Demo)
Inspiral Carpets – This Is How It Feels

    Thanks again as always! 。◕‿◕。

  18. Lindsey L.

Hi, Matt! Thank you so much for playing Imitation of Christ; Always lovely to hear The Furs on your show. <3
This week's playlist was amazing, as expected. It would be awesome to hear Remind Me To Smile by Gary Numan in an upcoming show.
Thanks again for taking my request. Hope you have a great week! :D

  19. Awesome show! Would you play Love and Rockets – Sweet F.A. (Rough mix – my dark twin )? Thank you and have a great week!

  20. My goodness what a show! Gang of Four and a Siouxsie request to start the show, just wow. An incredible 3 hours yet again. We love you Matt! That Stone Roses deep cut, yes….

    Second the Suede request above.

    Have a great week, cheers!

  21. Matt,

Thanks for another incredible playlist. AI couldn’t do a better job of selecting these songs and putting them together the way you do. The shows over the last month or so have been stupid good. The flow of each one has been spot on. Thank you.

For a future show, please consider:
A Game Called Echo – Gary Numan
When the Shit Hits the Fan – Circle Jerks

    Thanks

  22. Dearest Matt, I, and I’m sure everyone else, would love love love to hear JAMC “I Get Ahead”. Turned up to 11. Thanks! Jim

  23. Great vibe and flow this week – Like every week pretty much!

If you wanna get weird in an upcoming episode, how about either side of the A Chud Convention ep? I was intro’d to it recently – Ogre doing his best Tuvan Throat Singer work. Neat, dirge-y stuff.

  24. Excellent presentation, Matt. I’d like to request Dr. Jeep by The Sisters of Mercy. Thank you.

  25. Great episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Johnson Engineering Co., “Floorslammer”

  26. Matt.
In honor of one year since the passing Dave Heckman of Metropolis Records July 29, I was wondering if you could play something from Love Is Colder Than Death’s first album/CD Teignmouth such as “Very Ill”, “Structure” or “Wild World”.

I loved the tribute you did for him last year. When I heard “Wild World” for the first time, it blew my mind and I just had to go out and get “Teignmouth”.

Thanks for all of your weekly selections on your playlist and I’ve been very pleased over the past year to hear many tracks that I’ve thought of requesting.

    Cheers, Dan

  27. Freddie Bingham

Sinéad O’Connor – Reason With Me

  28. Sean Whitaker

WoW !! Discovered a Nitzer Ebb song I didn’t know existed. And I can’t find it anywhere on AppleMusic. I’ve been making playlists from your playlists since 2019. Would love to hear something in tribute to the passing of Sinéad O’Connor.

But first here’s Vociferous Mutes !!
