  1. The Tinderbox (of a Heart) – Cocteau Twins

  2. Thanks for the Border Talk. Great show, but I have to give it to Hour 1 this week. The first 9 songs were great selections.

Any chance you might play The Heart Throbs in the future? Maybe “Toy”, “I See Danger”, or “Pumping”?

Thanks for the great music. Hope you have a great week.

  3. Hi Matt! Excellent show like always. Can you play New Order – Everything’s Gone Green?

  4. For next week can you dig up

    Joy Division – Autosuggestion
    Depeche Mode- Halo
    The The – Giant
Nine Inch Nails – Something I Can’t Never Have

  5. Adriana Perez

Front 242-Special Forces. The first time I ever heard it was on your show, I cannot sit still when I hear it

  6. Since its Independence Day weekend, how about a patriotic song? Galaxie 500 – Forth of July.

  7. Was great to hear X. Good call!

  8. Hey Matt

Awesome show once again! Speaking of awesome, Love and Rockets in LA was just that – So glad I caught it! Those Daniel Ash guitar riffs are still reverberating within my brain. :). Hard to pick a fave from their set-list, but Daniel himself interestingly proclaimed “The Light” to be his personal fave before they played it – so perhaps that should be a request on here??

Sounds about right : The Light // Love and Rockets – Cheers!

  9. Thirwell 99

Gila Copter was unexpected, but wonderful. Love that bass-line.

  10. Matt, thank you for playing my requests a couple weeks ago. I couldn’t believe when I heard them both. The great thing about this show, however, is even when you don’t hear your request you are still treated to great music thru other’s requests or from selections you’ve picked to share. This is the only show I truly look forward to listening to every week. Thank you.

For an upcoming show, please consider:
    Public Image Ltd – FFF
    Slowdive – Some Velvet Morning

    • Listening to this weeks show for the 2nd time already. I think this is in the running for best show of the year.

Thanks again for a great mix of music.

  11. Gene Loves Jezebel – Who Wants to go to Heaven?

  12. Lindsey L.

Hi, Matt! Last night’s show was brilliant. I especially loved hearing from Wire, Depeche Mode, and The Smiths. For a future installment, I’d like to second Rob’s request for Giant by The The – one of my favorites from my favorite band. :)
I always look forward to Sunday evenings, and I can’t wait to hear what you’ve picked for next week’s episode. Thank you! :D

  13. Another fantastic installment Matt! I hope you don’t get tired of hearing that. Hour 1 was especially awesome! And shoegaze is always a bonus!! I’ve been re-listening to some movie soundtracks as of late and thought I’d request some songs off of the Valentine release:

    Love Dump – Static X
    Opticon – Orgy
    Breed – Snake River Conspiracy

    Thanks as always!!! 。◕‿◕。

  14. Great show this week!

  15. Eddie Boyte

Really appreciate your show (in fact if not for this and 35’s Blog Radio and Download 15 I would unsubscribe). No single sing suggestion, but how about when new music drops, do a set of older from each artist followed by the new releases?

  16. Yet another fantastic show. Hour 1 gets the slight nod for me but that shoegaze block to wrap up hour 2 was great as well. Not to mention the industrial block to conclude hour 3. Loved the unintentional b-sides theme running through, very fun. Thanks for the Bunnymen track.

Could you pull up a Dream Syndicate track for a future show? Dealer’s choice.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  17. Recommendations for next week:
    Cosmetics- Soft Skin
    Aurat- Can you hear me?
    This Ascension- mysterium
    Type O Negative- Red Water

  18. Wow, what a great set! I was so happy to hear The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The next ti.e you have a shoegaze set can you please play Hyperventilation off of the same album, Methodrone? Thanks!

  19. How about Garbages cover of Cities in Dust?

  20. For the next DW, I’d like to request anything from The Gun Club in honor of Jeffrey Lee Pierce, who would have celebrated his birthday on this day (6/27). Thanks!

  21. Great show as always. Dug the Cramps leadoff and that Depeche Mode b-side, in particular.

For a future episode, how about a Madchester block? the Andy Weatherall remix of Shine Like Stars would be my vote to fit in that one!

Thanks again for all ya bring to us, Matt!
