Video: World Party’s Karl Wallinger plays Record Store Day in-store at Fingerprints

Last month, World Party mainman Karl Wallinger did a low-key round of radio station appearances and record shop in-stores in the U.S. to promote the release of Arkeology, his new five-disc box set featuring a stunning 70 unreleased tracks — including this 40-minute performance at Fingerprints in Long Beach, Calif., on Record Store Day.

Luckily for us, the Rare, Unavailable and Hard to Find blog captured the whole thing on video; check out the full seven-song performance via the playlist above.  Full setlist below.

Setlist: World Party, Fingerprints, Long Beach, CA, 4/21/12

1. “Waiting Such a Long, Long Time”
2. “Put the Message in the Box”
3. “Everybody’s Falling in Love”
4. “Is it Like Today?”
5. “You’re a Hurricane”

  1. Thank you for posting the video playlist; it’s great to hear Karl again (“Is It Like Today” is a personal favorite).
