  1. Hi Matt. My husband and I are celebrating our three-year wedding anniversary on May 25th. Can you play our wedding song “Halo” by The Cure?

Also, thank you so much for always making our anniversary special each year!

  2. Can you dig up “What She Said” by the Smiths for next Sunday’s show, in honour of Morrissey’s birthday? Thanx!

  3. Thank you Matt, for Lead into Gold! Great Sunday night, as always!

  4. Loved the show, especially Hour 3 tonight.

Hearing Flour made me think of Breaking Circus. I don’t know if you can find it anymore, but if possible, maybe “Knife in the Marathon” for a future show?

Anyway, have a good week. Thanks.

  5. For next week can you dig up

Joy Division – Digital (Live) since anniversary of the death of Ian Curtis is Tuesday
    Siouxsie and The Banshees- Switch
Echo and the Bunnymen- Pictures On My Wall
New Order – Thieves Like Us
    The Cure – Burn

  6. For next week can you dig up

    Siouxsie and The Banshees- Switch
Echo and the Bunnymen- Pictures On My Wall

    The Cure – Burn

  7. Fernando N

I think I’m leaning towards “Priest=Aura” by The Church

  8. It was great to hear you feature John McGeough tonight. Great track from Magazine and he also played on the PiL track you featured. I’ll have to check out his bio when it comes out.

Great to hear Destination from the the Church. It’s my favorite cut from Starfish and never gets played.

    Thanks.

  9. Hello Matt! Cannot wait to listen to the whole show – what a line up! Some possible suggestions for next time:

Industrial Artz – Move to the Groove or be Removed
    Skinny Puppy – Pro-test
    Moev – Yeah, Whatever

For my Canadian friends and family on Victoria Day weekend — some Canadian selections!

  10. A few suggestions for nest week?

    Elegia – New Order
    Atrocity Exhibition – Joy Division
    Black Metallic – Catherine Wheel
    The Big Hush – Shriekback

  11. Outstanding selections last night. That last hour was absolutely amazing and thank you for the Ministry. For next week could we possibly hear:

Alien Sex Fiend- Ignore the Machine( Electrode Mix)

Please and thank you for making Sundays just the swellest.

  12. Great show.
Maybe Amonn’s cover of Love Will Tear us Apart?

  13. Hour 1 was my favorite Matt. Nice selections all together I would like to hear Gathering Dust by Modern English.

  14. In honor of her birthday today, how about something by Gitane Demone?
Lose This Gravity (off of Am I Wrong?) would be perfect.

  15. How about Malcolm McLaren–Madame Butterfly. Not sure if it fits the format. It might not fit any format. If not, then Coil–The Wheel.

  16. Team Forton

    Request(s)
The Darling Buds You Won’t Make Me Die
    KMFDM WWIII
    PiL Bad Life
Suicide Frankie Teardrop 1st Version 2022
    The Cult The Witch

  17. oh man, Shock of Point 6 – forgot how great that track is. Thanks for another great set last night!

Request for next time, some Tack>>Head… perhaps Ticking Time Bomb or Reality?

  18. Good deep cuts and the CW blocks were great.

    Here are some requests –

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Plain Gold Ring
    Volcano Suns – White Elephant

    Thanks!

  19. Robert Wilson

I know it’s ‘91, but Current 93/ HOH’s ‘Crowleymass Unveiled’ or even ‘The Fall of Christopher Robin’ would totally fit the genre’s eras sound….please!

  20. Catherine

Matt- Not sure if this fits with the format also, but…. Sparks- The decline and fall of me. It most likely has never been played on a radio playlist. You could be the first!

  21. Great show and great requests in the comments. May I add:

    Die Kreuzen – “Gone Away”
Flipper – “The Lights, the Sound, the Rhythm, the Noise”

    Thanks!

  22. Christianne McCall

Always a stellar show. The 22nd is my birthday and I’d love to hear something from either Agent Orange or Minor Threat. Thanks!

  23. A masterful show this week! FYI don’t know if you knew this but SiriusXM on demand had released the show well before it had aired; definitely better that it being late or some of the other scheduling issues the show has had recently, but I thought you should know.

For a future show, how about:
Liaisons Dangereuses – either Los Ninos del Parque or Peut etres…Pas
Or Ultravox! – Hiroshima Mon Amour

  24. One of these?
    Hallucination generation
    Chickasaw
    Filth pig
    Thanks

  25. Would live to request this song. PINK TURNS BLUE – There Must Be So Much More
    Thank you.

  26. Ministry “I’m Falling” was completely unexpected, but appreciated. Haven’t heard that in forever.

It might be too obscure, but the song “Complicated” by the Angels of Liberty would be wonderful. Less obscure (I think?), would be “Emily” by Clan of Xymox–totally sounds like “Phantom” by The Sister of Mercy (which is not a bad thing).

Thanks for the great tunes, Matt.

  27. I would like to suggest something a bit different but pretty cool if you delve deeper into it. The album is “Numbers Covered – a Benefit Album for Numbers Nightclub”. It was (and is) a Houston staple where a who’s who played during the 80’s. The album was recorded during the Pandemic in 2020 to help the club make its way through the tough times. A lot of the artists who played there both national and from Texas recorded covers of each others songs and a lot of great music and mixes are here. I am partial to the club mixes so here are a few for your consideration.

    P. Codenys Of Front 242 Vs. Machine X – New York 2.0 (Razormaid Mix) 2020
There are 2 versions on the album but this one is better – Razormaid mixes rock!

Except Europa Feat. Frank Schendler of CCCP – American Soviets (LIsten to the end of the song for a cool addition they put in about the club and the pandemic)

Christopher Anton & Nick James – Russian Radio (Or Fade to Gray)

  28. I remember you used to have downloadable mix tapes mp3, now we have to pay to listen?

  29. Dark episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    The Comsat Angels, “Dark Parade”

  30. Tony Huston

Dark greetings, would you be so kind as to play Siouxsie And The Banshees – Peek-a-Boo. Thank you and I really enjoy the show every week. I bid you well
    Yours truly, T~tone~the~bone

  31. Thank you for bringing a great episode as always, the songs played are really great to hear.
    Could you play-
    Romantic Me – Polyrock
    Missiles -The Sound
King Of The Mountain- Kate Bush

Thanks again for making my Sunday nights dark!

  32. Great show as usual Matt!
Could you consider for next week

    XTC-Battery Brides(Go 2)

    Thanks

  33. Steve Adamek

    Not Enough NIN.
    More Trent Reznor….

  34. Hey matt I know you will play this.

My life with thrill kill kult—-A daisy Chain For Satan…..
