  1. “Airwaves” by Kraftwerk

  2. Gonna put up a couple songs and hope one sticks. Skinny Puppy Pro Test. Nitzer Ebb Captivate, Ian Mcculloch Lover Lover Lover or Mission UK Tower of Strength, Thanks always for the great music and memories.

  3. Saving Hour 3 for tomorrow, but looking forward to it. Hours 1 and 2 were great. Thanks for the Pink Industry a week or so ago.

On a future episode, would like to ask for some The Invincible Spirit. “Oxidize” or “Saveheads” or “Waiting” maybe.

Thanks for the music. Needed it to start my week. Have a good one.

  4. Moose: Boy
    Motorcycle Boy: Run Run Run
    Lush: Last Night

  5. CARMEN ILARDI

Thank you for playing Garbage’s Cities in Dust. If anyone is interested, there is a very funny clip of Public Image singing Covered on the Dennis Miller Show on YouTube.

  6. Great show tonight! I loved hearing Chris & Cosey.

  7. Thanks for another great mix! Nice to hear that Bowie song – just watched Moonage Daydream again so I’m starting the week on a Bowie buzz. I would love to hear “Gimme Hell” from Jesus and Marychain during an upcoming show. Thank you!

  8. My friends and I were listening along together last night and it was amazing how I recognized both “Spooky” and “My Dark Twin” within 2 seconds of them starting! Thanks for playing those tracks. And “Spy In the Cab.”

How about a track from Bauhaus’ Mask album on a future installment? I really dig “In Fear of Fear.” The instrumental version “In Fear of Dub” is just as killer too.

Thanks a lot and have a great week!

  9. Wow great installment this week – hour 2 was stellar in my humble opinion! Some possible suggestions for next time:
    Sonic Youth – Cotton Crown
Jesus and Mary Chain – Gimme Hell
New Order – Run (2015 remaster)

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this show (and us listeners)…cheers!!! 。◕‿◕。

  10. Good DW!

Here are some requests, featuring some of the acts that will be at Cruel World on 5/20 –

Adam and the Ants – Feed Me to the Lions
Gang of Four – Return the Gift

Or any songs of theirs of your choosing. Thanks!

  11. “Psycho Beat” by 39 Clocks.

  12. Great show Matt! All three hours finely balanced. Highlights for me were The Fall, Abecedarians, Chris and Cosey, and The The. Hour 3 was particularly outstanding.

Week after next I will be fortunate to experience a holy trinity of shows. Starting with the Sisters and Doktor Avalanche in San Francisco, then a jaunt down to Pasadena for the Cruel World fest, wrapping up with taking the family to see Love and Rockets right here in Oakland. May I request a Sisters of Mercy selection to kick off what should be an awesome week? One of your personal favorite Sisters tracks would be really nice.

    Have a great week, cheers!

    • Wow nice!!! Wish love and rockets were coming closer to me….but the cure next month will have to do! I’ve only seen sisters once…it was not a great experience sad to say. Hope they’re better for you!

      • Fingers crossed for a good Sisters show. We’re actually seeing The Cure next month as well and not too far from your neck of the woods Tina, in Montreal. Looking forward to it!

  13. Catherine

Wonderful evening listening to DW Matt. How about The Names- Postcards. Have a nice week.

  14. Killing Joke – Pssyche

  15. Highlander

Please consider CindyTalk : Everybody is Christ. Love the channel Matt!

  16. Severed Heads “Propeller” (Brave New Waves Session)

This is a fantastic rendition of one of my favorite Tom Ellard songs. This is a live version recorded during their 1986 tour with Skinny Puppy. Somewhat faithful to the original until the final quarter portion of the song where this version really shines- a chaotic crescendo climaxing with the live choir. Hair raising…

  17. Siouxsie and the Banshees- Not Forgotten
    Thanks Matt

  18. Controlled episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Nitzer Ebb, “Control I’m Here”

“You’re hoping that I’m not here
You’re hoping that I’m not here”

  19. You and Me and Rainbows by The Tear Garden

  20. Thought I’d post today- literally had my eyeball sliced up this morning. “See” y’all.

  21. My Favorite Joy Division song. Decades.

  22. Sorry for the late suggestion but just ran into this song for the first time in years heard it on a college radio station up in Massachusetts and I would say that I would go on record saying in my opinion this is the most haunting song by The Smiths and this song is called “Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me” Please play it this Sunday.

  23. Was listening to Bauhaus’ Third Uncle”, and figured I have not heard of the original in a while. Could you play Brian Eno’s version please?
    Thanks.

  24. Great show !
Love to hear anything by The Verge from Habitual EP.
