Got a request? Requests will be considered for future episodes as long as they fit the show’s format and generally within the 1stWave era — and provided the host doesn’t harbor an intense dislike of the song.

  1. “No Time To Cry” by the Sisters of Mercy for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

    • Wow! Awesome show especially the transition from the The Cures Grinding Halt to Joy Divisions Interzone

I would love to hear Change by Killing Joke or I Don’t Mind if you Forget me by Morrissey

  2. Great show tonight! Goodnight.

    • For your consideration, Manufacture – Terrorvision, Moev – Capital Heaven, Xmal Deutschland – Qual 12″, Edward Ka-Spel – Even Now, Curve – Turkey Crossing

  3. Hi, Matt! Wow, what a brilliant show. It was so wonderful to hear Love Is Stronger Than Death. Great ones from Depeche Mode, The Smiths, The Church, and Wire as well. Thank you for bringing all of this amazing music to us every week. We love Dark Wave! <3

  4. Sweet sets!
    It’s A Boy by Wire
Four Enclosed Walls by Public Image Ltd
Bill Bailey by The Gun Club

  5. This one is a tough call. Great selections from Wire, Twisted Nerve, Mr. Murphy, PTP and The The. But I have to give it to Hour 1 for Bowie. Great show.

On an upcoming episode, would like to ask for Lesson Seven “andthe (Arise)”. Preferably the Down Home Texas Mix.

Thanks for another great show. Have a good week.

  6. Great show! Matt, when you played Alien Sex Fiend’s Now I’m feeling zombified, you brought me back to the 90s when Beavis and Butthead had the video on their show. Well done!

  7. this week was one of your best. That first hour was a home run for me With NiN Dax and The Church then the second hour with a Split-second and Lene Lovich. Didn’t catch the third hour but I will later today. But that was a great ending to the weekend!

  8. Awesome show as per usual. Anytime you weave in L&R, Tones on Tail, Dali’s Car, and solo PM, it’s a great set. Hour 1 wins for me yet again with the killer Bowie track off the Lost Highway soundtrack. And Siouxsie covering the Velvets was a nice surprise.

Request for a future show: “Perfect” by The The.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  9. Enjoyed the deep cuts!

    Here are some requests –

Revolting Cocks – You Often Forget
    The Cramps – Caveman

  10. “Return” (Kasmodiah) by Deine Lakaien would be nice. Thanks.

  11. PTP was especially a treat last night. Could we possibly hear:

    Front 242- Welcome to Paradise

It would be the kittens pajamas.

  12. Bauhaus – Third Uncle

  13. Ever thought of an entire show of live performances? I think that would be awesome.

  14. SDC – All Glory or False Faces
Brian Eno – Baby’s on Fire
    Ozean – Scenic

  15. Hour 3 was for me Matt Let’s hear New Order- Let’s Go!

  16. Hey Matt great set list this week! I can’t wait to listen to it in it’s entirety! Some possible suggestions for next time:

    Battleflag – Lo Fidelity Allstars
    Front Line Assembly – Vigilante
    NIN – Sin (Short)
    Thanks again as always!!! 。◕‿◕。

  17. Hey Matt!

“Dick Morant is Dead!” (Gratuitous ‘Lost Highway’ reference!). Thanks for playing that Bowie/Eno song … so very memorable! Also – ‘The Ideal Copy’. Kind of reminds me of Dave K. & 120 Minutes as well!

New request! Going to the Mission UK/Chamelons show in SF in a few weeks.. how about ‘Swamp Thing’ from Strange Times?

  18. Real horrorshow episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Clock DVA, “The Hacker”

  19. Matt yours shows are so beautiful crafted and they are so consistently awesome! You make my day every time I listen to your show!
