  1. “Tiatschi-Tarot” by Nina Hagen for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  2. Hour 3 for the win. Loved it tonight, especially Big Black, Psych Furs, The The, and Black Flag. But Hour 3 hit it on all accounts. Especially the New Model Army. Great choice. I had heard Ash’s version of Day Tripper before, but never noticed he went blue with the lyrics before.

Thanks for the great show. Have a good week.

  3. A very rare Dark Wave without Bauhaus but you did get solo Daniel Ash in there which tickled me very much. Always love hearing one of his solo cuts, even covers he does because he knocks those out of the park!

A few requests to choose from:
Trip & Glide – Love and Rockets
    Dancing – Bauhaus

If you’re able to do more recent tunes, I’d love to hear “Where’s My Leather Catsuit” from Daniel Ash. But if you’re unable, that’s understandable.

Thanks and have a great week!

  4. Great show tonight Matt! Goodnight.

  5. Extra credit for the Jane’s LA Medley
    and NIИ!!! ⸸

  6. way to kick off the first hour with some solid Uncle Al (PTP, Ministry). Nice to have an industrial set to start things off! No requests for me other than keep up the good work Matt!

  7. Thank you for honoring my request for a L.A. block of bands. That Jane’s medley was a great kick off to the segment. So many bands from that area and era still capture my attention.

And thank you for delivering an awesome show week after week! Your thoughtfulness doesn’t go unnoticed. Week after week you play a wide variety of bands/requests – it’s amazing.

  8. Enjoyed the LA block! And the flow of each hour was perfect.

    Here are some requests –

Siouxsie and the Banshees – Metal Postcard (Mittageisen)
    The Church – Fly

    Thanks!

  9. The Damned – Sanctum Sanctorum

  10. It was great to hear the Humans and nice to have NiN in regularly. Xmal was a nice listen as well.

  11. Absolutely awesome playlist this week but I especially loved hour 3! Thank you so much for the Concrete Blonde request of mine… love that one! It seems weirdly surreal that I requested Fairytale of NY for next week’s show and in the meantime Shane sadly passed …. ❤️❤️
Some possible suggestions for next time:

    Bigod 20 – Like a Prayer
    Moev – Crucify Me
The Cure – All I Want
    Thanks again as always!! 。◕‿◕。

  12. Enjoyed hour 1 Matt.

  13. Hey Matt,

How about Jello with D.O.A. That’s Progress
    for sometime in the future?

  14. THIS was a PERFECT show. Thank you!

  15. Matt!

Thanks so much for playing “Testure” by Skinny Puppy – and the S.F. mix no less! :). Ultra cool!!

Speaking of that particular city – went and saw Depeche Mode again last night at Chase Center! I am continually amazed by them – such incredible energy – this time, an acoustic version of Strange Love really stood out with Martin on the vocals. However, I won’t request that song – instead, they actually played this as well and it was just …. THE BEST!

A Pain That I’m Used To // Depeche Mode

    Cheers!

  16. Moose Koharski

    Hey Matt,

How about some Nardwuar / The Evaporators’ “Welcome To My Castle” followed up with MOEV’s “M.T.M.T.N.M.E”? Just a thought.

  17. Can I hear my favourite song on Heaven or Las Vegas

    Fotzepolitic

    By the Cocteaus

  18. Still catching up on this week’s installment as I missed the show live for the first time in a long long while because I was seeing Depeche Mode in SF. As JR already said above and you said as well, such a tremendous show. We got “Condemnation” instead of “Waiting for the Night” so I’m super happy you played that one this week. “Black Celebration” and “Stripped” back to back was powerful.

Thanks for playing The Fall as well, I can never get enough of that band. That first hour really killed it. Awesome industrial block to kick things off. Loved the Skinny Puppy track as I missed their show last week, still bummed about that. Also the LA block, so good.

I feel like it’s been a long while since you’ve played something by another great and underrated LA band, Abecedarians. May I request a dealer’s choice? Anything would be welcome.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  19. Killing Joke continues to get me through this crazy world. I know you just played the remix of Money is not our God a few weeks ago, but the original it has to be one of my favorites these days, especially “face melting” riffs from Geordie. RIP Thanks Matt

  20. addictedtonoise

Medium Medium – Hungry So Angry

  21. So nice, we’ve already listened to it twice – thanks for the awesome playlist as always Matt!

  22. Hey Matt, getting married this Saturday and am playing To the Sky (the Cure) as my grand entrance. If it’s not too much, would you mind dedicating this track to us? We’ll be listening.

    -Andre & Anne

    • Congratulations to you and Anne :)

My wife Laura and I played To the Sky during our wedding dinner. Such a beautiful song.

      All the best

  23. As always, thank you all so much for the requests. Because of holiday schedules and travel, the next few shows are already done. I won’t be able to play any requests left here or in the next couple weeks until after Christmas and into the New Year.

Thank you all so much for listening
