  1. That first hour was mighty fine and the PTP was a great cap to it. Hour two was chock full of bangers, especially Final Impact. And hour three was a perfect end to the evening. For next week could we hear:

    Front 242- GVDT

Thank you for what you do.

  2. Thanks for That Petrol Emotion. Hour 2 for the win,but the other hours gave it a run for the money. Great selections.

Would like to ask for Psyche in an upcoming episode. Either “Ride On” or “Haunted”

Thanks for the music. Have a good week

    Project Pitchfork – Souls
Advent Sleep – Vision In Black
Cranes – Brighter or Tomorrow’s Tears

  4. Thank you Matt for playing my Ministry “Light Pours out of Me” request!

  5. Loved the Throwing Muses from the Just Say Yes compilation. The best version (IMO) of Route 66 is the Behind the Wheel/Route 66 [Mega-Single Mix] – Depeche Mode from the Just Say Yo follow up disc.

  6. Great show last night! So many great tracks.

  7. Wow Catherine Wheel doing Mission of Burma! I missed it last night but I’m definitely going to catch it

  8. Love and Rockets – Life In Laralay

  9. Three great hours of darkness!

    Here are some requests –

The Church – When You Were Mine

    Thanks!

  10. Bush Tetras – Ocean
Longshot Request (Black Wing – Death Sentences)

  11. You turned me on to ‘And Also The Trees’ and ’39 Clocks’ last night. I loved Ministry as well.
How about Paul Haig covering Atmosphere? Either version is excellent. If you Google Paul Haig images, you’ll find him some guy from New Order who produced for Paul.
    Thank You Matt!!

  12. Yet another stellar set! Thanks a bunch for the shoutout and playing the Moz request, excited for the show this weekend. Fingers crossed for no last minute cancellations!

Some excellent deep cuts sprinkled in this week from Snake Corps, Gang of Four, Love and Rockets, and a couple of personal faves from Depeche Mode and The The and of course The Smiths.

I know you’ve played a fair bit of The Fall in recent weeks but I’ve been on a big Fall kick largely due to your show. Wondering if you could play something in a couple weeks or so off what may be their best album, This Nation’s Saving Grace, “Bombast.”

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  13. Thanks Matt for playing my New Order 24 Hour… request!

    Best radio show OAT.

  14. Really excellent playlist Matt!! Thank you so much for playing my Love and Rockets request…just love that one — soooo moody on a winter’s day!! Thinking cover tunes this time around…..

NIN – Digital (Joy Division cover)
    Deftones – Ghosts (Japan cover)
Placebo – I Feel You (Depeche Mode cover)

    Thanks again as always!!!!! 。◕‿◕。

  15. Great set!
If it’s possible, could you play one of the following?

    The Sisters: Emma
Joy Division: In a Lonely Place
The Legendary Pink Dots: When I’m With You
    Clan of Xymox: Your Vice
    The Cure: Fear of Ghosts
    Neubauten: Stella Maris
    Ladytron: Start-up Chime

  16. I’d never heard of Honolulu Mountain Daffodils before last night. Loved it. Can you play Shriekback – The Shining Path or one of your favorite shreikback songs that I may not know of? Thanks

  17. That live version of “Sidewalking” was a banger but I don’t see it listed on Honeys Dead Extended edition. I’ve searched everywhere but I can’t find that live version. Anyone know where I can find it?
    Thanks!!

  18. Thanks for playing “Sidewalking”! Loved the flow of Bunnymen, Joy Division, The Smiths, and JAMC…All those tracks were definitely on my mix tapes back in the day!
A request for an upcoming show:
Spiritualized “Lay back in the sun”
Winter is my least favorite season and I could use a dose of audio Vitamin D.

  19. Hey Matt – same here, never had the pleasure of hearing Honolulu Mountain Daffodils before! Sounded great … just like the rest of this truly awesome show! :-)

    Request time:

Pixies / Space (I Believe In)
    Red Guitar / David Sylvian

    Cheers!

  20. Anyone else having an issue with the new SiriusXM app resetting the show every day? I haven’t made it through an entire show since the new app dropped…which makes me sad and angry…which makes me want more Dark Wave.

    • I’ve experienced it several times since they launched the new app. It’s been frustrating.

      • Same for me as well. New app definitely has some major glitches. But I have been able to listen several times, just have to let it keep running.

    • Yeah, same… I’ve complained, but it’s yet to be fixed…I’ve just decided to wait until Friday and play the whole thing rather than play an hour a day

  21. my request is a song we haven’t heard since January 22, 2023. A song that I have been listening to almost daily since, thanks to this show

    Altar De Fey – Demons
