  1. How wonderful for you to play Something Wonderful. The Japan track was a fun addition. You have no idea how much hearing Hand in Hand meant to me AND for finishing up tonights show with a track from my favorite Ministry album. Speaking of good RevCo songs, could we hear:

    Revolting Cocks- Creep

Hope you feel better soon and thank you for your dedication. Thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

  2. AND great final New Order request

  3. How about Severed Heads – either “Harold and Cindy Hospital” or “Goodbye Tonsils”
Or Richard H Kirk – “Never Lose Your Shadow”

  4. Wow! This evening’s selections were perfection! Seriously. Man, I was dancing around for most of the show. Rose of Avalanche, Roxy Music, The Chills and Lucy Show were my favorites of the bunch.

    I’d love to hear –
    Japan – Adolescent Sex
Shriekback – Hand on My Heart
Virgin Prunes – Baby Turns Blue
Alien Sex Fiend – Can’t Stop Smoking
    The Creatures – Slipping Away

    I hope you feel better soon : – )

  5. Hi Matt! Get better soon. I loved the cult tonight.

  6. Always great to hear Danielle Dax. Thanks Matt!

  7. Jesus and Mary Chain-Birthday

  8. WoW! Thank you Matt! Show was LOADED tonight!
Tuxedomoon, Roxy Music, Japan, and nothing like the organic years of DM, and of course My white Devil, Moldavia and Procession.
I bought my first NEW car in 1986 and the first cassette I plugged in was NO’s Everything’s Gone Green ep.
Our lives are better with you in it sir.
    Accolades

  9. Great show, thanks for playing the big black request and I hope you’re feeling better!

Biggest surprise of the night: Ian Astbury’s voice, still sounding pretty dang good!

Really enjoyed the RevCo track and the industrial block in general. and who knew Roxy Music could be so darkwave-y?? Thanks as always for bringing us these delightful memories and new surprises.

An idea for a future episode: Ride has a new single out, ‘Peace Sign’, that’s not too bad…

  10. Killing Joke – Goodbye to the Village

  11. Gang of Four – What We All Want
Longshot Request (Jeff Buckley – I Woke Up In A Strange Place)

  12. Wow, something for everybody on last night’s show, so good! Huge props to you yet again Matt for being so gracious about playing so many requests. Love that Chameleons track, thank you Elliot for requesting BIg Black, RIck’s Bunnymen deep cut, and Roxy Music at their very best tracks off a perfect album – first hour was awesome. Both industrial blocks kicked ass, loved hearing the ‘new’ Bauhaus song again, and Procession was pretty much the perfect closer, nice call on that one Doug.

Next time you’re in the mood for a shoegaze block how about a lesser known Chapterhouse track off the Sunburst EP, “Satin Safe.”

Have a great week Matt and feel better, cheers!

  13. Great choices and enjoyed the industrial in each hour!

    Here are some requests –

Concrete Blonde – Beware of Darkness
    Wire – Lowdown

    Thanks!

Adam and the Ants – Beat My Guest

Thanks so much for the amazing music!

  16. That Front 242 – Moldavia from Re-Boot: Live ’98 was a nice surprise! Very underrated live album in my opinion. If/when you revisit that album, hope you play Masterhit from it!

  17. Randall Griffith

Great show! I would love to hear the Siouxsie and the Banshees “Throw Them to the Lions” B-Side of Dazzle on an upcoming show. Keep rockin and get well!

  18. I would love to hear Tracey’s Burning by Anorexic Dread :)

  19. You gave us another awesome show (while feeling under the weather – hope you’re better). Like yourself and others, I enjoyed the new Cult song.

With Valentine’s Day looming – I would love to hear:
The Jesus and Mary Chain “Some Candy Talking”

  20. Could you play either: Pleasure Zone – All the King’s Horses or Telepathic – We are Telepathique?
    Thanks as always!

  21. Loving the show this week. Hour 1’s Big Black and RLYL were the highpoints for me. Thanks.

For the Valentine’s week show, would like to ask for The Damned “Love Song”.

    Thanks. Have a great week.

  22. Hi Matt! A few months back, my wife Hellen requested you play “We’re In This Together” by Nine Inch Nails and you did, much to our delight and appreciation!

On a future show, would you mind returning the favor for me and playing NIN’s “Into The Void” (of marriage we go) from me? She would be over the killing moon about it.

Thanks so much, and keep up the great work on the shelf! You are appreciated

    Kind regards,

    Jeff
