  1. Dominion/Mother Russia is such a solid song as well as Don’t Crash. Nemesis is so, with several o’s, good. Hit the North? Tonight was a treat of a show. Speaking of amazing shows, the TKK tour right now is something I cannot recommend enough. So, could we please hear:

My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult- First Cut

I also had tickets to canceled Bauhaus dates, but I feel like that had a bit to do with Love and Rockets going on tour shortly after, which was a joy of a show. As always, thank you for what you do.

    • I was incredibly fortunate to see Bauhaus multiple times on that last reunion tour, including a night in San Francisco with my 13yo son who loves Bauhaus. They were phenomenal and I do not expect Peter to join the L&R guys again. Peter and David J put on a good show several years back as well. Does anyone know if Tones on Tail are planning a full tour after the cruel world appearance?

    • Dalton Callahan

Hey, sorry to bust in like this. Is anyone else having issues with the new app? The new one for me is that Dark Wave is marked as being 2hrs long. We all know its 3hrs. I listen in increments as I don’t have time to do the whole 3 in one shot. So, if I leave anywhere after the 2hr mark then when I come back its marked as PLAYED and I have to start all over. Sirius has yet to reply.

  2. “Breeze” by Lush for (the Sunday after next) Sunday’s show

  3. That might be my favorite Shoegaze block you’ve done. Great choices, especially Curve. Also great cuts from Strawberry Switchblade, 45 Grave, Shriekback, and Excessive Force. Great show.

Would like to request Mr. Numan’s “Beserker” for an upcoming episode please.

Thanks for the great music. Have a good week.

  4. I loved Curve and Cult hero tonight. Great show tonight. And thank you for last weeks lead into gold and New order, Matt.

  5. Wow Great Setlist last night! Great to Hear Curve, Inspiral Carpets, NiN, and Shriekback.

  6. I would love to hear this in a future show if it fits in, a current goth artist covered it and I love their rendition. Love the original too.

    No-One Driving, by John Foxx

  7. Lover to hear Dig It from Skinny Puppy and some early Nitzier Ebb since Douglas is stepping away to take care of his health right now.

  8. Thanks for the Strawberry Switchblade track. Great show all around! Also, it’s a brand new song, but would you be willing to play Ist Ist by Einsturzende Neubauten?

  9. Such a great playlist! A shame I couldn’t really listen live as I’m back to teaching and getting up early on Mondays. I’ll have to replay it on the SiriusXM app. I know I would’ve loved to stay up and hear Love and Rockets close out a show. Also love seeing Bauhaus, Tones, and Simple Minds on the playlist. Another great show I’m sure!

  10. great show! loved the abundance of industrial – that version of Breathe is so great… man, I played the shit out of that VHS back in the day – took me right back, big thanks to the requestor!!

Also, I appreciated the shout out! thanks for playing the Excessive Force track. I am psyched for KMFDM tonight!

For a future show how about some Pain Teens – She Shook Me, Lady of Flame, or anything else off Born in Blood?

    Thanks Matt!

  11. Holy crap this is my favorite show to date….I literally loved every track!!! Hour 3 is pure perfection!! The Ministry track was awesome….Beers Steers and Queers brings me back to my club days. Thank you for playing my Cure request also! Just wow nice work!!! Some possible suggestions for next time:

NIN – Kinda I Want To
Rob Zombie – Living Dead Girl
VNV Nation – When is the Future?

    Thanks again as always!!!! 。◕‿◕。

  12. Excellent playlist as always. Some suggestions for next week:

I Met the Beast – Martin Dupont
Back In Flesh – Wall of Voodoo
Lipstick On My Dick – Brainbombs

  13. This show is not showing up in the Sirius app, just last week’s show. Is there a problem?

I am in WITHDRAWAL! I need my fix!

    Cheers!

  14. I thought the Sirius app was gonna let us all down! When I went to the app this morning there was no show, and I missed the first two hours live last night which rarely happens. Sigh of relief, I’ve got the show on now. Looking forward to listening back to the first two hours. That third hour was smashing. I love hearing Suede on the show, so good. The extended version of Piccadilly Palare was also great, I’ve always been fond of that Moz single.

Could we get a dealer’s choice cut from The Birthday Party in a couple of weeks? Both of my boys have birthdays coming up and who doesn’t love some Nick Cave for their birthday.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  15. First off I’d like to say this show makes my morning commute so much better! Loved the RevCo track this week! For future shows I’d like to request:
    Chemlab- Neurozone
    KMFDM- Naive
    Skinny Puppy- Rodent
    Thx!

  16. Thank you for yet another incredible show.

I’d not heard that live version of Breathe by Ministry until now, and it’s sooooo good. Reminded me of seeing Crash Worship in cramped, low-ceiling venue in the depths of San Diego’s industrial complex between downtown and the airport. The wall of percussive sound was deafening, but incredible. This live version of Breathe took me right back. So damn good.

  17. Q. Lazzarus – Goodbye Horses (1991)
Rebel Christening – Tribal Eye (1985)

  18. Like others have mentioned I was super bummed out when this wasn’t showing up in the app. So far, I’ve only listened to the first few songs…but I’m excited for the shoegaze block (Suede!) and the bunch at the end including my JAMC request! As always, thank you for honoring my request.
And a request for an upcoming show:
    Sonic Youth “Teenage Riot”

  19. By far the best Robert Smith Sioux Sue song is I Dig You. WLIR memories at Spit.
Dark Wave is the best, and the genre needs a resurgence.

    I sliced my f______ eyeballzz

  20. The March DW’s have all been killer!

    Here are some requests –

The Gun Club – Eternally is Here
And anything from The Cramps, to honor Nick Knox, who would have celebrated a birthday today.

    Thanks!

  21. The Wolfgang press- cut the tree
    The smiths- frankly Mr. Shankly
    Cranes- shining road
    The Alarm- Strength

    Thanks! Always great to listen.

  22. Man that industrial set from Ministry to Revolting Cocks was on fire! Glad other people are discovering the Live Necronomicon set, it is amazing!
    That particular set of songs got me thinking of a couple of requests for future shows;
NIN – Wish (the remix by J. G. Thirwell from Fixed)
    Coil – Love’s Secret Domain

  23. Another killer show. That third hour was top tier. Loved hearing Nemesis. I’d love to hear ‘Late For The Train’ by Buzzcocks sometime. Thanks!

  24. Hi Matt
I have a request for a fast paced song
    Sugarcubes – Motorbike

  25. Good Show with Fields of Nephilim, Killing Joke, Ministry and loved The chameleon’s song – Up the down Escalator , you really dug deep for that one.

  26. Hi Matt! Could you play “Heartworms” by Coil sometime (and maaaybe more Coil in general)?

    Thanks! Keep up the radness!
