  1. I appreciated the acoustic A Forest along with so many other songs tonight. Twitch is certainly my personal favorite Ministry album, and All Day Remix is one of the best songs from that album, but could we pretty please hear:

    Ministry- Effigy (I’m Not An)

You make Sunday evening’s something to look forward to, thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

  2. Great Sunday night Matt! Can you play Dead Souls by Nine Inch Nails in the next couple weeks?
I loved the shoegaze set tonight, and Meat Beat Manifesto.

  3. “Feels Like Dancing Wartime” by Nevilluxury for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

    • Excellence as per usual Matt! Thank you for playing Head On – that had me bopping in the car! All of your 2 was just perfection – shoegaze block was pure awesomeness…. Vapour Trail is one of my favorite songs of all time!! I have been listening to soundtrack of late and forgot how good this one was (Natural Born Killers).
Some possible suggestions for next time:

Sweet Jane – Cowboy Junkies (probably my favorite cover ever)
      L7 – Shitlist
      NIN – Burn

      Thanks again as always!!! 。◕‿◕。

  4. Tough to call an hour. Great selections by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Cure, Propaganda, and all the shoegaze. I’m going to call it a tie.

Since it’s Earth Day tomorrow, would like to request you to consider Seance “Blue Dolphin Blue” for an upcoming episode.

Thanks for the great music. Have a good week.

  5. What a joy to hear so many of my own personal favorites in this setlist. Thank you so much for playing my Bowie request. And to hear favorites from JAMC, Ride, Curve, etc… My week is off to a wonderful start!
A request for a future show: JAMC “Blues from a Gun”
    Thank you!

  6. Looking for some Band Of Susans, who were label mates of Dinosaur Jr. and Sonic Youth, and who played gigs with My Bloody Valentine.

  7. Sigur Rós -Svefn-g-englar

  8. Skeletal Family – She Cries Alone

  9. Excellence as per usual Matt!

    Thanks again as always!!! 。◕‿◕。

  10. Allez Allez – African Queen (1981)
    Shellac – Watch Song (2000)

  11. Great openers to each hour! Enjoyed the industrial and cover tracks!

    Here are some requests –

    Galaxie 500 – Flowers
    Wipers – True Believer

    Thanks!

  12. That was a really great set. Starting off with a split second release set the tone then throw in propaganda Lena Lovich, and. Curve to really make the set!

  13. Can you please play If I Could Write Poetry by the Television Personalities?

  14. Stellar set! Thanks for the shoutout and playing the Slowdive request. I really hope we get that one live on Thursday or Friday. Lots of great requests played this week. The entire shoegaze block was lovely. And I can’t remember if The Clean track was a request but huge props to whomever if it was, that band is so good and criminally underrated. Really loved hearing The Fall in hour 3 as well.

Request for a future show: “Man of Christ” by Executive Slacks.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  15. I have an APP related question for you fellow darkwavers. I am fortunate to be able to tune in live almost every week and I’m sure many of you enjoy playing back the show on the APP as much as I do. But is anyone finding that if you stop the show at, say the middle of hour 2, and then go to pick up where you left off the next day, the APP automatically starts the show over? Or maybe I’m living in some sort of strange time loop?

    • Nathan, just confirming that you are not living in some sort of strange time loop…I experience this problem with the APP on a regular basis. I will remain polite and simply say the “updated” APP is not user friendly. And I have submitted the issue to Sirius but nothing has changed. It’s outrageous considering the cost of a subscription.

    • Yup I have the same problem….always goes back to the beginning. Not losing it or in a time loop lol!

      • Whew, thank goodness I’m not in a time loop, haha! Thanks for confirming my sanity Nicole and Tina. This is a super annoying issue though with the new app, it’s only been happening since the big update.

  16. outdoor miner is one of my favorite songs ever. thank you

  17. Great show!

I’d like to request a song that I have been listening to on loop for days on end. I can’t believe I didn’t appreciate it this much before!

Barrel of a Gun – Depeche Mode

    Thank You!

  18. Lindsey L.

Hi, Matt! Another great episode, as always. Loved the selections from Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Cult, and The Mary Chain. You chose the perfect song to end the night as well. Can’t wait to hear what’s in store for us next time – Hope you’re all having a great week! <3

  19. Hi Matt, I heard this song for the first time in my life on your show and I love it! It’s called “Bruises (extended version)” by Gene loves Jezebel. I would like to dedicate this song to Veronica, who is the perfect dance partner.

  20. Great set! damn that MBM song is fantastic – thanks for another Darkwave and lookin forward to it again this Sunday!

  21. Hi Matt- first time commenter long time listener. Want to let you know you are the best thing to happen to music for me personably since going to modern rock clubs in the late nineties as a teen. Listen to your show multiple times weekly. Gotta make a request while I’m here: fav NiN tune: Ruiner (European only release on Further down the spiral) it’s a danceable version!

  22. Can you sneak in some current bands that are carrying on the synth/goth tradition?
