  1. Mr. Sebastian you make me feel like a rabbit’s jumped over my grave when you say Wax Trax!. Keep it up. Damnit if that Laibach cover isn’t just the best no matter the time of year. Thank you for the Lush, it’s real good in the ear bones. Solid simple request tonight :

    Revolving Coks- Dirt

Reeeeaally pleasing show tonight, thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

    But for real.

  2. Another great Sunday night, Matt! Goodnight!

  3. Since Saturday May 4th marks the 42nd anniversary release of The Cure’s Pornography album, how about “The Figurehead”?

  4. Great to hear End of Your Garden and “Cactus”. But I have to give it to Hour 3 tonight. It just really hit on all cylinders tonight. Great show.

Would like to ask for some Tear Garden. “Sheila Liked the Rodeo” or “Tear Garden” maybe.
Out of curiosity, have you ever seen a list of bands that did songs named after themselves? For your show I can think of Until December, Tear Garden, Escape with Romeo…I’m forgetting a bunch I know.
Anyway, thanks for the great music. Have a good week.

  5. Really enjoyed The Creatures, still have the album. Good show as usual.

  6. Yes to opening with JAMC! I always love and appreciate when Bowie is in the mix. And so cool to hear Spacemen 3 and Luna. Week after week this show is amazing – thank you!
A request for an upcoming shoegaze segment:
    Ride “Taste”
    Thanks.

  7. You really outdid yourself this time.
    Great show!

  8. Paul Browse

Beautiful losers…one of the best from that incarnation of Clock DVa and one that I look back on with pride.
Thanks for including it in your playlist.

  9. Wintermute

    Ministry, “The Game Is Over”

Put some sax solo in your gloom! Thanks, Matt.

  10. Love this show I listen every Sunday night.
Would love to hear Possession by The Sisters Of Mercy next time.

  11. Definitely need more Spacemen 3 in the future.

  12. Can you play “Kinetic” from Hilary

  13. Great set last night! Loved that there was an industrial block in each hour. So many gems, including another stellar shoegaze block. We can never have too much Spacemen 3, that was a great selection. Luna too.

For you fellow shoeagazers: I saw Slowdive in Ventura and Pomona last week and they were just incredible. I can’t recommend seeing them live more highly if they happen to pass through your burgh.

Request for a future show: “Sweet Bird of Truth” by The The

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

    • Yes, “Sweet Bird of Truth” — there is a great extended remix. I went straight to the 12″ after the show.

  14. Nick Cave – Plain Gold Ring (Live Seeds)

  15. Hey Matt,
I’d like to request “Pluto Drive”, another great song from that Creatures album. Thanks & Cheers!

  16. Art Objects – The Paperweight Flood (1981)
Fad Gadget – Saturday Night Special (1981)

  17. FEAR- I Love Livin in the City

  18. Another good show.
    Tubeway Army- Are ‘friends’ Electric?

  19. High five Matt! Super show – hour 2 was especially awesome! Keep the shoegaze coming!! Some possible suggestions for next time:

Stone Roses – I Wanna Be Adored
Pulp – Do You Remember the First Time
    The Verve – Sonnet

    Thanks again as always!!! 。◕‿◕。

  20. NIN and Peter Murphy doing Joy Divisions Atmosphere

  21. Heaven or Las Vegas. Gorgeous. The Cocteau Twins are not in my music collection. Which three of their releases should I get ? Or maybe the anthology? Happy with either CDs or the ITunes downloads.

  22. all great through and through – but that shoegaze set, chef’s kiss.

how about some Ethyl Meatplow for a future ep, if they’re not too late / still ’80s Era’? Queenie’s a good one!

    thanks Matt!

  23. Hey can you please work “Cop Shoot Cop “ by Spiritualized in there. The music you play is fantastic. Definitely my favorite show on SiriusXM

  24. Please play “Heretic’s Fork” by Spahn Ranch from 1995 please

  25. Please play “Heretic’s Fork” by Spahn Ranch from 1995 please.

  26. Hi Matt, love the show and always listen when I’m in the studio making art. It’s the prefect soundtrack for me. You’ve introduced me to some really cool stuff that I wasn’t familiar with…Martin DuPont is one that I can recognize right away now. I appreciate how you never miss The Cure — and that is where I am most at home. I hope you’d play Man Inside my Mouth sometime.

  27. This is perhaps the best playlist in year! Really enjoyed the music in this week’s show.

  28. Love the show. How about some Wolfgang Press next week!

  29. Hey Matt!

So many requests, but add these few to the list!!

    Another Day // The Cure
Clan of Xymox // I’ll Let You Go

    Cheers!

  30. Matt thanks for playing my New Order request. I know I read here awhile back (more like one or two years ago by now lol), anyways having said that anytime in the future I would like to hear The Misfits’ “Queen Wasp” on a future show to make things lively a bit as well as a concert warmup for their shows this summer.

  31. Another good show!

  32. Definitely one of your best. Loving the Au Pairs!
