House of Love frontman Guy Chadwick this past week unveiled a brand-new lineup of the band, announcing he’d parted ways with original members Terry Bickers and Pete Evans, as well as Matt Jury, who’d been on board since the group reunited in 2003. Full details right here.
For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, we present something we don’t come across too often online: a full set, or at least a good chunk of a full set, by The House of Love. In this case, we’ve got a concert filmed Oct. 27, 1992, at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., while touring Babe Rainbow.
With an April tour of the U.K. expected to be announced Wednesday, The House of Love is now previewing two tracks off its upcoming sixth album, ‘She Paints Words in Red,’ on the band’s official Facebook page. Currently streaming are 1-minute samples of opening song “A Baby Got Back on its Feet” and the title track.
