Bauhaus is slowly piecing back together plans for its pandemic-interrupted reunion tour, today announcing a concert in New York this November following shows in México City and London. Tickets for the Nov. 3 concert at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn go on sale Friday.

The “ongoing uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic” today led promoter Goldenvoice has pulled the plug on the rescheduled Cruel World festival in Los Angeles, which would have celebrate the ’80s alternative era with a bill topped by Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie and Devo. Bauhaus issued a statement Tuesday assuring fans they are “working diligently” to reschedule the remainder of the band’s planned 2020 reunion shows, with the group looking forward “so very much to playing again as soon as it is possible to do so.” Full details right here.

The inaugural Cruel World music festival that boasted a bill topped by ’80s alternative stalwarts Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie, Devo and Echo & The Bunnymen appears to have been postponed indefinitely in response to the coronavirus outbreak in the United States, but promoters have barely communicated anything to ticketholders.

The Psychedelic Furs today debuted the second track off the band’s first album in 29 years, a song called “You’ll Be Mine” that has a slight Celtic tinge and will be featured on the eagerly awaited Made of Rain, which is due out May 1 via Cooking Vinyl. Hear it right here.
