  1. Thank you so much for playing Bauhaus and Love and Rockets!! Both songs truly made my night <3 I cannot thank you enough for playing those songs. I have no requests to offer up so have a great week and thanks a bundle for providing great music every Sunday night!

  2. Two suggestions for your Christmas show–
    1. “Welcome Christmas” by Love Spirals Downwards is my favorite goth Christmas song.
    2. “We Three Kings” by Lycia/The Unquiet Void (also from the Excelsis compilation) is so hilarious in terms of its over-the-top gothiness that you might consider playing that too.
    Thanks and happy holidays!

  3. Hi Matt, great show tonight.

  4. Nice one on the Dessau! Not for the Christmas show, but for some time in the near future, how about Seefeel – Time to find me (AFX fast mix, if possible).

    Cheers!

  5. Here’s my requests for the Christmas show:

“Hey Lord” by Suicide : great song off of a classic Christmas album.
“Frosty” by The Legendary Pink Dots
“The Christmas Song” by London After Midnight
“Fairytale of New York” by The Pogues: this song isn’t really goth but it would be a great way to pay tribute to the late Shane MacGowan.

  6. Hi Matt. I would like to request Laibach’s version of My Favorite Things for the Christmas show. Thanks very much!

  7. How about I sit on acid by lords of acid? Thanks!

  8. Depeche Mode – Little 15

  9. Matt, There were bits and pieces in every hour that made my night. Simply Brilliant. Hopefully not too late, but I would like to request There ain’t no Sanity Clause -The Damned and F*** Christmas -FEAR.

  10. 45 Grave through Christian Death was a fantastic Deathrock series!

  11. Very awesome playlist this week – literally a bit of everything! I especially loved hours 2 and 3!!! I know you’ve already pre planned the shows for the next little bit……so some possible suggestions for next time:

Chemical Brothers – One Too Many Mornings (sounds very shoegaze-y to me)
    Lush – For Love
    My Bloody Valentine – Sometimes

Merriest of the Christmas season to you and keep on making things dark for us each week!! 。◕‿◕。

  12. Enjoyed the industrial choices throughout each hour! The second hour was really rocking, and the covers were also good!

Here are some requests going into January –

    The Smiths – I Started Something I Couldn’t Finish
    The Fall – Winter 2

    Thanks!

  13. Hey Matt!

You are the best! Just caught an X show in SLO, CA (last night!) My ears are still ringing (but was not quite as loud as the 1987 X concert that I went to). Which compels me to request:

Johnny Hit and Run Paulene / X

As for the letter “X” – Perhaps this would fit nicely into any Dark-Wave Christmas festivities? :)

Xmas in Australia / Xmal Deutschland

    Happy Holidaze!!

  14. Great show. Next show Samhain “Archangel” please.

  15. Talking heads -Cities

  16. In the spirit of christmas a song that is worthy of Dark Wave Playlist

Captain Sensible – One Christmas Catalog

    Happy Holidays to all!

  17. Lots of great surprises in this week’s set, well done sir. The block from Johnson Engineering Co. to Chris & Cosey was superb. My 10yo son walked into the room while “The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight” was playing and starting busting some moves. And that Chris & Cosey track is so damn good. Plenty of gems in hours 2 and 3 as well. Looking forward to a darkwave Xmas eve on Sunday.

Have a great week and happy holidays to you and your family Matt! Thanks again for bringing us darkwave cheer week in week out.

  18. Trying this request again – the live version of New Dawn Fades from the 24 Hour Party People soundtrack, with New Order performing with Billy Corgan, John Frusciante and Moby. It rules. Thanks!

  19. Hi Matt, would you please play Feathers Oar-Blades by Cocteau Twins at some point? Thanks.

  20. Great show. Can’t pick one hour this week. They were all solid. Great cuts by The Bolshoi, Swans, and Nitzer Ebb particularly.

Since 2023 sucked and 2024 is going to another election I doubt any of us are looking forward to, would like to request something a bit more upbeat for the New Years show. Ministry’s slow version of “What a Wonderful World” maybe.

If not, maybe Human Sexual Response “What Does Sex Mean To Me?”.

Just something to maybe soften the blow of a new election year. Anyway, thanks. Have a good week.

  21. A zillion thank yous I owe you for all the beautiful music . Hours 3, 2 & 1 were the best. Crackin up

Ministry- the game is over. When is the next holiday remix show? I think about grace jones she lost control again and 15 minute long new order songs.

Pigface chicasaw…christain death hypnotic sleepwalking remix….any orge….perfect stranger remix

  22. Ministry’s cover of Magazine’s The Light Pours Out of Me. Kick ass cover

  23. Brilliant show this week. Loved the Low cover tune, and the creepy Coil track, plus my favorite Peter Murphy song.

    Requests:
    Tones on Tail: “Lions”
    Skinny Puppy: “Convulsion”
    Lucky Pierre : “Communiqué”

  24. Hey Matt
    Good job this week especially….
The Killing Joke song- Lets all go to the fire dances back to back with Dessau- Unshakable song was brilliant!!!
