  1. KMFDM makes music to dance to and Sunday nights are as good a night as any to do so. Jesus and Mary Chain are always a welcome addition. Everything on Pretty Hate Machine is gold.

I figured if anyone knew the answer to this question it would be you, Lords of Acid, are they industrial enough? They are KMFDM adjacent? If yes could we hear:

Lords of Acid – She and Mr. Jones

I hope you witnessed a most Superb Owl and thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

  2. Great show as usual. However, we have been Nina Hagen-less for way too long.

  3. Great show tonight Matt! Goodnight!

  4. I really enjoyed hearing Concrete Blonde’s cover of “Beware of Darkness” (I just listened to that George Harrison album last week). And to follow it with one of my favorite Peter Murphy songs – awesome!
A request for an upcoming show – from the Moonage Daydream soundtrack:
David Bowie “Hallo Spaceboy” Live Moonage Daydream Mix
    Thank you!

  5. Can you play ‘Drive’ by The Wedding Present from their great, often forgot about “Mini” EP.
Working in Healthcare for so many years, Hawaii is spot-on. I have two copies.
    Thank you Matt, so good

  6. The Frozen Autumn – Your Touch

  7. Damn what a show….all 3 hours are top notch Matt!!!! Thank you for playing The Cure & DM tracks…love them and you for taking our requests into account when you plan your shows! Cheers!!

Some possible suggestions for next time:

    PWEI – Wise up! Sucker
    Bigod 20 – Like a Prayer
The Jesus and Mary Chain – Catch fire

    Thanks again as always!! 。◕‿◕。

  8. ^^sorry should say Catchfire

  9. World Domination Enterprises – Message for you People (1988)
    Dead Moon – Graveyard (1988)

  10. Really enjoyed hearing newer lush tonight, how about some early lush with their song bitter? Ty!

  11. Loved hearing Tracey’s Burning :)
    great as always!

  12. Thanks for The Damned. Great show. Hour 1 really killed it, especially the Concrete Blonde/Peter Murphy double hit.

Would like to hear something from Depeche Mode’s more angry side. How about “Rush” please?

Thanks for the great show. Have a good week.

  13. Hey Matt! Awesome show… “Deep Ocean Vast Sea” is a timeless treasure!

A couple of more requests, circa late ‘80’s ….

    Sonic Youth // The Sprawl
    The Cure // The Kiss

    Cheers!

  14. Another great DW!

    Here are some requests –

Executive Slacks – Say It Isn’t So
    Morrissey – Jack the Ripper

    Thanks!

  15. Loved this set Matt. Thanks for including the Chapterhouse on the playlist, too bad Sirius skipped it like they did the Spiritualized a couple weeks ago. Maybe two tracks to put in the back pocket for a future show. I enjoyed hearing the new stuff from Modern English and Ride. Monochrome Set and Nurse With Wound in hour 3 were welcome surprises.

With the recent passing a few days ago of the incomparable Damo Suzuki I’m hoping you might honor him with either a dealer’s choice Can track (anything off Ege Bamyasi would be rad) or the timeless classic from The Fall “I Am Damo Suzuki.” RIP Damo.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  16. “You and Your Sister” is one of my all time favorite songs. Really brings back memories. And since I have truly discovered “Ministry” in my mid-50’s thanks to you — how about “Nature of Love” Cruelty Mix?

  17. Another great show, Matt. I enjoyed hearing Anorexic Dread. I’d love to hear Twister by Rubella Ballet sometime. Thanks!

  18. Excellent show!
For next week I was wondering if you could dig up “I Was a Maoist Intellectual” by Momus. Thanks!

  19. Randall Griffith

Hey Matt! Thanks for the shoutout and playing Siouxie track!

Killer idea for a future show: how about a block of 007 theme songs done by dark wave, post-punk, indie artists.
    e.g.,

    Magazine – Goldfinger
The Wedding Present – You Only Live Twice
My Bloody Valentine – We Have All the Time in the World

    Great show!

  20. Poison Door – Sisters of Mercy

    Thank you!

  21. Great job on this show. You introduced me to Lowlife, who I can’t get enough of. So thx for that.

Could I request ‘Was There Anything I Could Do’ by The Go-Betweens?

  22. Good show Matt enjoyed cocteau twins and killing joke.

  23. A request for cocteau twins – iceblink luck
    If you can thanks.
