Paul Weller’s only playing a handful of North American dates in support of his newly released ‘Sonik Kicks’ album, but he did manage to stop by ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ last night to perform, on air, that record’s lead single ‘That Dangerous Age,’ plus a web-only run through The Jam classic ‘That’s Entertainment.’

‘The US Generation’ documentary to mark 30th anniversary of US Festival this Labor Day

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is helping make a feature-length documentary about the so-called ‘Woodstock of the ’80s’ — the 1982 US Festival, which featured Talking Heads, Oingo Boingo, The B-52s, The Cars, Ramones, Gang of Four and more — to be released this Labor Day weekend on the event’s 30th anniversary.

Dexys — Kevin Rowland‘s relaunched and renamed Dexys Midnight Runners — appeared on BBC chat show “Later… with Jools Holland” on Tuesday night, performing “Free,” off the forthcoming ‘One Day I’m Going to Soar,’ as we well as the needs-no-introduction “Come On Eileen.”

The Primitives have issued a second video for a track off their just-released “concept covers album” ‘Echoes and Rhymes,’ this time for their cover of Nico’s 1965 debut single “I’m Not Sayin’.” The track features guitarist Paul Court on lead vocals, with Tracy Tracy chiming in with backing vox toward the end.
