Peter Murphy’s ‘Love Hysteria’ to receive 2CD reissue with 13 bonus home demos, B-sides

Cherry Red Records next month will mark the 25th anniversary of Peter Murphy’s second solo album — 1988’s Love Hysteria, featuring the classic single “Indigo Eyes” — with an expanded 2CD reissue that will pair the remastered nine-track album with 13 home demos, B-sides and single edits and remixes.

Seattle’s KEXP has just shared video of a blistering, half-hour set by Bob Mould filmed by the radio station during last month’s Bumbershoot festival that finds the rocker tearing through a set comprised of three songs apiece off Sugar’s Copper Blue, his latest solo album Silver Age and Hüsker Dü’s Flip Your Wig.
