  1. I feel like you possibly outdid yourself tonight. I especially love anything off of Twitch. Speaking of delightful synthy Ministry, could we hear:

Ministry- Same Old Madness (Video Version)

Thank you for doing the Lord’s work.

  2. “Advent” by Dead Can Dance for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

    • Excellent show. It’s become a staple of our appointment listening since my wife discovered it a few months ago. Wonder if you could play some Project Pitchfork and Covenant soon? Favorite songs for me are “the Abeyance” and “Dead Stars” respectively… But dealer’s choice really. Some of those tracks may be too recent.

  3. Surprised by the lack of Love & Rockets on the show tonight but it’s good to hear something different. Loved hearing “Slice of Life” at the start of Hour 2. “Fury Eyes” and “In Your Room” were other favorites from tonight’s show.

    Requests for the future:
“Rosegarden Funeral of Sores” – Bauhaus (Press the Eject version)
“Dancing” – Bauhaus (This Is For When version)
“Heartbreak Hotel” OR “Movement of Fear” – Tones on Tail

Guess we can say my love for Daniel Ash still exists!

  4. There were a lot of winners in tonight’s show. Julian Cope. Parade Ground. Sugarcubes. But I have to give it to Hour 3. One of my favorite Souxise/Banshee songs. And the McCarthy/Trashcan Sinatra/Specimen/Prieboy block. Peter Murphy as the cherry on top. Great way to end the show.

Feels like it’s been a while since we heard any Red Lorry Yellow Lorry (sorry if I have that wrong). How about something off Nothing Wrong? “Nothing Wrong” or “Only Dreaming”?

Thanks for more great music. Have a good week.

  5. Great episode tonight Matt! Happy Labor Day weekend.

  6. Would “Far Side of Crazy” work for you? Thank you for the Andy Prieboy tune tonight.

  7. Loved tonight’s show. Would love to hear Red Wedding

  8. Siouxsie & the Banshees “I Promise”
    please n’ thanks Matt

  9. Great show, Matt! A couple requests for the future: Dark Parade by the Comsat Angels, Tribal Warning Shot by Hunting Lodge, and the Last Song by Trisomie 23. Thanks!

  10. Gang of Four – I Found that Essence Rare

  11. “Return” by Deine Lakaien, pleeeze.

  12. Man, it is great hearing some Trash Can Sinatras on the show!
Could I request Revenge’s Pineapple Face for next week?
    Doug

  13. Choice covers and tunes!

    Here are some requests –

The Gun Club – Eternally is Here
Suicide – Cheree (or any song of your choosing by them)

    Thanks!

  14. Great show this week Matt….very nice variety in there! Thank you for playing my Cure request….seems appropriate on Labor Day weekend tho it’s pretty hot here in Buffalo! Anywho some possible suggestions for next time:

Alien Sex Fiend – Dead And Buried
Dead Kennedys – Too Drunk To Fuck
Wire – I Am The Fly (2006 remastered version)

Thanks again as always for your stellar show!! 。◕‿◕。

  15. Hi, Matt! Last night’s was an excellent show, as always. Thanks so much for Marc and The Mambas, and a great one from Julian Cope; I seem to recall your playing Non-Alignment Pact during your all-covers 10th anniversary show. So awesome – Can’t believe that was nearly a year ago already.
Hope you’re having a wonderful Labor Day weekend! <3

  16. Twitching episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Ministry, “The Angel”

  17. Hour 2 Matt La tumba cuarenta y cinco

    Gary Numan – Mercy

  18. Neon Judgement
    “Tomorrow In The Papers”
    …that’s Belgium, ya know

  19. Awesome show Matt! You could play Chris and Cosey every week, fine by me. Throwing Muses and Trash Can Sinatras were especially welcome treats. The show never ceases to spoil us with hidden gems.

“Have-a-Go Merchant” reminded me of the band that opened for Moz on his 92 US tour, Gallon Drunk. Any chance you could dig up “Some Fool’s Mess” off their debut album for a future show?

    Have a great week, cheers!

  20. Randall Griffith

Hi Matt – loved the show, as always. I wonder if you would consider playing Jeff Buckley’s cover of “The Boy with the Thorn in His Side”?

    Thanks,
    Randall

    • Here to say this! I may be biased, and yes, he’s not “post punk”, but while the cover played here is decent, one MUST hear his version of “I Know It’s Over”…he always slays it. I have a few live versions, all lovely.

  21. Cabaret Voltaire – We got heart .

  22. It been while and great show
Here is couple of tracks if play next time
    Ministry “Same Old Scene” (demo)
    Curve “I Feel Love ”
    Thanks

  23. Hi
    How about:
    the chameleons – swamp thing

  24. Hey Matt!

That was great! – “Lonely is an Eyesore” was such a ground-breaking compilation back then! Especially awesome to hear it these days.

New request! – from the often forgotten “13 Above the Night” :

My Life with the Thrill-Kill Kult // Dimentia 66 (The Ballad of Lucy Western)

    Cheers!

  25. Awesome show this week for a future show I would love to hear Crystal Wrists by Peter Murphy from his classic album deep.

  26. Hey Matt – how is there not yet a story on here about Uncle Al playing Revenge in concert for the first time in 40 years?!?! Biggest news of the decade LOL!
