  1. “Hunter” by Björk for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  2. Wonderful show. Have to give it to Hour 2 for Big Black and the Shoegaze set. But that Shriekback to Chameleons set in Hour 1 was a close runner up. Great stuff.

Would like to request Caterwaul “The Sheep’s A Wolf” on an upcoming episode please.

Appreciate the great music. Have a good week.

  3. For next week can you dig up

Depeche Mode- Shouldn’t Have Done That
    Joy Division- Autosuggestion
    The Cure- Disintegration
    Blancmange- Blind Vision

  4. Hi, Matt! Tonight’s playlist was brilliant, as always. It was great to hear Bigmouth Strikes Again and Charlotte Anne in hour two, and Double Date was the perfect start to hour 3. I most loved hour 1; so many favorites, especially Infected.
Can’t wait until next Sunday – Hope you have a great week! <3

  5. Yet another great show. May I ask if you can play some live Gary Numan in a future installment? Please and thank you.

  6. Awesome show Matt! My request is Die Krupps: Machinen Industrie

  7. Magazine Siouxsie and Shreikback. A helluva way to begin the show. Some great forgotten cuts this week, Matt. Missed the last two hours, but I’ll surely listen and catch up.

  8. I want to post one more request for Rerun Time by Front 242. Terminal State last night inspired me for this one. Thanks Matt!

  9. Another great show, Matt! Was a delight being able to hear “Double Dare,” “Yin & Yang,” “Alice’s House,” and “Bigmouth Strikes Again.” Especially that live version of “Bigmouth.” I enjoyed that a lot.

I do have a request but I’m not sure if it fits with Dark Wave music. If it doesn’t, no big deal. I figured I’d request and let you decide. Anyway, the request is for Altered Images’ “Dead Pop Stars.”

    Have a great week!

  10. Another awesome show Matt. I thought it would be difficult to top hour 1, that was just about perfect, and then you start hour 2 with Big Black, wow. Loved the shoegaze block, and that was a great selection off the new Slowdive album. Hour 3 was no slouch, especially with Double Dare to kick things off. I’ll be listening to this set all week.

Seeing the Mission and Chameleons and Theatre of Hate tonight in San Francisco. How about “Singing Rule Britannia” by The Chameleons on a future installment?

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

    • I was at last night’s show, too! Just incredible; all three bands were so great. I can’t decide which was my favorite. I second your request for Singing Rule Britannia – what a great one to hear live. :D

      • Yeah, really strong sets from all 3 bands. It was a nice surprise that The Chameleons and The Mission flip flopped headlining and we got an extended Chameleons set. I was over the moon to here “Singing Rule Britannia” live, so good!

  11. Great set as always! Thx for that Big Black request! Also, I think you make up my mind to buy Slowdive tickets :) Really enjoyed the shoegaze block…

Throbbing Gristle and Acid Horse got me thinking about the single off this weird-ass acid house collab that Genesis P-Orridge / PTV put out called Jack the Tab – “Meet Every Situation Head-On” – could be an interesting fit for a future episode!

    Thanks yo!

  12. Q Lazzarus – Goodbye Horses

  13. Great show last night, Matt!

  14. Enjoyed the industrial and shoegaze blocks!

    Here are some requests –

The Church – A New Season
    The Fall – Free Range

    Thanks!

  15. Thanks for playing my request! Was wondering if you could get to ghosts by Abecedarians?

  16. Thank you for playing my request! It was an awesome show. Have a great week!

  17. Hi Matt,
    Could you play
    808 State-In Yer Face
    Thanks

  18. Great show thanks for playing my request for the chameleons. I got to see them last week with Theatre of Hate and The Mission it was amazing and I got The Chameleons setlist

For a future show could you play Gut Feeling/Slap your mammy by Devo or Janie Jones by the clash?

  19. The Stone Roses – I Am the Resurrection
The Chameleons – View From A Hill
    Gary Numan – M.E.
The House of Love – I Don’t Know Why I Love You
    Japan – In Vogue

  20. My God, that Belfegore brought back memories. Thank you.

For Halloween, how about Soft Cell’s “Martin”?

  21. Infectious episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    The The, “Infected”

    Great show opener as well.

  22. Darn it late to the party this week lol! Thank you for playing my MBV request….love that one so much!!! Great set as always!

Would be great to hear some spooky selections for future installments down the road….

    The Cult – The Witch
    The Cure – Lullaby
Specimen – Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

    Thanks again as always!!! 。◕‿◕。

  23. Just wanted to say hearing for “To Here Knows When” made my day. My absolute favorite MBV song. To me, the ultimate encapsulation of Kevin Shields’s sonic experimentation on “Loveless”. Just a great song to let wash over you.

  24. Hey Matt!

Went to the second night of Mission/Chameleons @ The Chapel in SF – the bands actually switched playing spots (Mission went first instead of closing) as compared to opening night, so Chameleons closed and they ended their set with an awesome rendition of ‘Second Skin’, which btw Mark dedicated to his mother who passed away 4 nights into this particular tour.

Sooo – I thought its a perfect song to request here as well! :-)

    Second Skin // The Chameleons

    Cheers

  25. Great show as always! Could you play the loved by The Cranes? Saw them in the 90’s when they opened up forThe Cure, such an underrated band. Or Electrafiction Sister pain.
