  1. A great show! Glad I was able to stay up and listen to the entirety of it for once! Loved hearing Kraftwerk, Love & Rockets, Bauhaus, and Kate.

    A couple requests:
    Twist – Tones on Tail
    Pearl – Love & Rockets

  2. Thanks for another great Sunday night Matt
    For a future night…
    KMFDM – Godlike

  3. “Don’t Fall” by the Chameleons for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  4. Can you play Caterwaul, The Sheep’s a Wolf for next week’s show?

  5. Lovely show, Matt.

“The World is as Soft as Lace” by Felt for some time in the future.

    Thank you.

  6. Hey Matt,
I’d like to request one of the following for an upcoming show:
Siouxsie & the Banshees – El Dia De Los Muertos
Ministry – Just One Fix (WSB version)
    The Cure – Sugar Girl
    Thanks!

  7. Matt,

Thanks for honoring my request for 2 Late, was a pleasure hearing it on the show!

My only request this week is the obvious choice of Ministry’s (Every Day Is) Halloween for the Halloween show.

Have a nice rest of your week!

  8. Constantine

I just listened to Bowie’s LOW last night before Dark Wave and I really think
“Warszawa” would sound awesome on your show

A real influence on many darkwave bands that followed

    Thanks Matt

  9. Amazing show Matt! I was impressed with the quality of your selections! Thank you for a wonderful Sunday evening! Hour 2 was pure gold!

  10. Stellar show Matt! The punk block in the middle of hour 2 was great but ever so slight edge to hour 1 for me. Sunday nights are supremely enjoyable thanks to your show. Not to mention being able to listen again during the week.

Request for a future show: Just Out of Reach – JAMC.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  11. Loved hearing Sex Beat! Had a dance party in my bedroom LOL. Some real gems from The Batcave, aren’t there?

For future shows I’d love to hear Red Over White/SATB, Some Velvet Morning/Rowland & Lydia (really anything by Rowland S Howard) or Swamp Thing/Chameleons. Thanks Matt!

  12. Enjoyed the punk block!

    Here are some requests –

Sad Lovers and Giants – Colourless Dream
    And anything from Chemlab

    Thanks!

  13. The Cult – Nirvana

  14. Still listening to the show. The punk block was awesome. Maybe consider 2 shoegaze blocks and then 1 punk block. Great cut from New Model Army and Iron Curtain.

Would like to ask for “Valentine” off Concrete Blonde’s Group Therapy album. That is if it’s available. Group Therapy seems to be CB’s unloved child.

Thanks for a great week of music. Hope you have a good one.

  15. Double dose of Jello? I’m in. Really enjoyed the punkish block (need to explore more UK Decay now) and Hey Asshole, Stainless Steel Providers, and Mate Spawn and Die all close together took me directly back to my angsty mid-teens. Thank you! I can’t get the spooky season out of my mind so a couple ideas for 4 weeks from now…

    ASF – Katch-22
TKK – Rivers of Blood, Years of Darkness
    Dwarves – Satan \m/
SP – Spahn Dirge (on the other end of the song length spectrum from the last one)

    Thanks as always Matt!

  16. Matt,
A super big thank you for my DM request! Sunday nights are a wonderful escape hatch for those of us (like myself) that get overwhelmed by other things life throws out. So thank you
Some possible suggestions for next time:
    Fugazi – Waiting Room
The Cramps – Goo Goo Muck
Sonic Youth – Bull in the Heather
    Thanks again as always!! 。◕‿◕。

  17. We’re going dooooowwwnnnn to the chicken farm!

  18. Hey Matt,

    Another great show
It’s always a bummer when that last song is over and then pretty in pink plays.

Would you possibly play Ritual Howls – My Friends?
Sure it’s not 1st wave era but it’s heavily influenced

  19. Hi Matt,

Thank you for playing my request for “April Skies” – it’s appreciated.
Thanks for another wonderful dose of dark wave – nice to hear Kraftwerk and Circle Jerks in the mix of things. And I’ll never tire of Love and Rockets, Joy Division, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus…

  20. Bewitching episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Skinny Puppy, “Worlock”

  21. Hour 2 edged out hour 3 Matt by a pinch. Find a way to fit Toy Dolls- We’re Mad in an upcoming show!
    Have a great week all!

  22. Great show Matt, many songs I was unfamiliar with! Keep up the great work, appreciate it!!

  23. Hi Matt, that punk set made me nostalgic for a few obscurities. Think you could get a hold of The Masque by The Dark for a future show?

  24. Christopher Lloyd

Greetings Matt! I recently discovered the show and I love it, even if it occasionally makes my wife leave the room. I hear so much music I haven’t heard for decades.

Do you ever play any James Chance or his alter ego James White and The Blacks? Would you? “Melt Yourself Down” or “Stained Sheets” would be great but I’d take whatever you were willing to play
