  2. You pulled out so many great tracks, I’m speechless! Simple Minds, Bauhaus, solo David J, Love & Rockets, Japan – you really hit the nail on the head with your picks tonight! A superb show!

I’ve got no requests to make. I’ll simply bid you a great week. Looking forward to next weekend!

  3. “Cat House” by Danielle Dax for (the next after next) Sunday’s show

  4. Thanks very much for the Caterwaul and the great show. I’m really torn as to give it to Hour 2 or Hour 3 tonight. I think I’m going to have call it a tie, at least until I listen to the show a few more times on the Ap.

Thanks again and have a great week.

  5. Hi, Matt! This has been another awesome show. It was wonderful to hear that live version of Down In The Park; there’s nothing like a Gary Numan concert. So brilliant. Closing the show with The Mission and Morrissey was perfection as well.
Have an amazing week – and a belated thank-you for playing Kate Bush during last week’s episode! We love Dark Wave! <3

  6. I’m just thrilled Rerun Time opened up the 3 hour set! Thanks Matt!

    • I’m with Darren. Rerun Time is my fave Front 242 track! Nice to hear them open up 3 hours of great cuts. Thanks for another spectacular show, Matt!!

  7. Thanks for playing my request! Was thinking of colder by throwing muses since it’s been getting colder outside! Ty again!

  8. Leftfield – Open Up (featuring John Lydon)

  9. Hey Matt,

    Another great show!

For a future show maybe you can play Melting Away
    By Absolute Body Control?
    Thank You,

    Until Next Week

  10. Love and Rockets, Haunted….resonates with me…and I sing it often. It’s on my running list, not because it’s fast but because it comforts me, like a friend.

Could you play My Heart by The Danse Society?

Thanks, Matt. Keep going dark every Sunday, I’ll be listening.

  13. Hey Matt!

These last two broadcasts have been OFF THE HOOK! Soooooo very good – no need to list all of the tracks. Supremely worthwhile – THANK YOU!! :-)

A couple of requests for future shows:

Break the Black Ice // Death in June
Blues From A Gun // JAMC

    Cheers!

  14. Matt,
First off, thanks for playing the Circle Jerks last week. What a surprise. I wasn’t sure how you’d fit them in, but you did it and I thank you. Under appreciated band that always delivered the goods. It was great to hear them on the show.

With regards to new stuff, PIL’s End of World is amazing. Can you please play LFCF on a future episode. Another fun Lydon track I had forgotten about is The Animal Speaks he did with the Golden Palominos. If you could dig that one up, it would be awesome.

    Thanks Again

  15. This Blade Runner fan thought it was a great episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
Revolting Cocks, “Attack Ships on Fire”

  16. How about a little shoegaze?

    Pale Saints – Hunted
    Catherine Wheel – Pain
    Lush – Kiss Chase

  17. “Ghost Dub”
    Tino

Halloween vibes y’all- Jack Dangers style.

  18. Wonderful DW!

    Here are some requests –

    Slowdive – Souvlaki Space Station
    Ministry – I’m Falling

    Thanks!

  19. Great show as always Matt. Thanks for the shoutout and Chameleons track, much appreciated!

I suspect you’ve got a delightful Halloween episode in store for us in a couple of weeks. Two awesome bands both have tracks called “Halloween,” certainly appropriate for the occasion. Siouxsie and The Banshees off the great Juju album. And The Dream Syndicate off their debut album, The Days of Wine and Roses.

Have a great week Matt, cheers!

  20. Matt, how about a selection (DJ’s choice) from the Violent Femmes 1st album to celebrate the 40th anniversary reissue?

Always enjoy the show. Thanks for playing the good stuff!

  21. With Halloween approaching how about.
    Ministry- every day is Halloween

  22. If not ready for Halloween music yet.

    Shoegaze pic would be
Chapterhouse- Inside of me- off of Whirlpool ext.

  23. Great setlist! Loved hearing the Live Version of Down in the Park – still one of my favorites, thanks!
I caught it on demand and it was a very fast three hours indeed!
