It’s Bernard Sumner’s birthday today — he’s turning 55 — and to celebrate, we present this somewhat rare New Order concert film called ‘Pumped Full of Drugs’ that was released on VHS in the U.K. in 1986.

The release of R.E.M.’s new album ‘Collapse Into Now’ is still more than two months away, but the band is in full pre-Christmas promotional mode, not just offering up free tracks but now releasing a 2-minute trailer for the record that features the band performing many of the new tracks live in the studio.

With Duran Duran’s first album in three years — ‘All You Need Is Now’ — now available via iTunes, it should come as no surprise that the original music-video band has, in fact, released a new music video to promote lead-off single ‘All You Need Is Now.’ The clip, seen above, premiered Monday night on Yahoo Music.
